I plan on getting over to Europe at least once a year to get my $$$'s worth, and there's quite a lot of places I'd like to go. Florence, Milan etc. Zagan is another so I can bow my head and raise a glass to 'the 50'.
How long do you reckon for a coast to coast ride? and what route would you fancy? I also hope you don't get hit by a bus.

To be honest I've not thought about it enough so don't really know. I have a few epic European trips in mind too, Italy tip to toe, Brussels to Barcelona to name two.

Before you do any of European stuff, especially Italian, PLEASE speak to me. I know some fantastic roads/routes. I've also done a lot of France and Northern Spain on a motorbike.

The ferry down to Bilbao and then back home via the Pyrenees and Alps is magic.

That's moving Jeffski. In for a laugh though. I may be an Adders part timer after all.

Went to have a look round said boxing gym for a look around. Really friendly people and sensible looking training. I'll be back. Now then, they also do crossfit and have an olympic lifting section. This place may tick a couple of boxes. Opening times fit round work well too.

Cycled today. Sunny day. Good times. No other training.

Will do mate. I'm a year away from being sat on a thumper, but I'll bear it in mind.

I think you will enjoy the boxing gym, and great for weight loss too. I dropped 3 stone in a year at the boxing gym, and had my first fight in the process. Made some very good friends along the way and most people who box are very humble, helpful and generally just good people

The combination of boxing and a oly section sounds like a gym from my dreams.

I fancy that rather a lot. I've driven a bit of the Pyrenees, but never seen an alp in person.

Didn't come up mate. The session we walked in on last night was a bag/ pad circuit type thing, but I liked the look and feel of it. They do full on 'fighting' classes, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. First things first. Need to pick a day next week when I'm not at Adders. This shouldn't be too hard once I work out which day I may be there. It may turn out I'm dead good and never get hit, or dead s**t and never go back. Not a black eye in sight Happy

Thanks Rick. I need to keep a track of it somewhere and as don't smoke any more I don't have fag packets to write on.Unhappy

Nice to see you at weekend. Really enjoyed my Sunday morning over the hills. I'll be sure to drop you a line next time I'm that side to see if you have a spare few minutes and a coffee pod to accommodate a quick visit Happy
