I'm hoping there are a few benefits in doing this. Progressive workload without progressive pace (I struggle to up the pace) Stops me getting bored and adds another dimension Helps gainz on gunz as I use wrist weights and try and keep my hands up. The 1k doesn't seem like much, but I find it makes a difference, especially after several sets of curlz. Milo's bull weighed 2k once. | ||

It's a suck it and see kind of thing and I want progress to be slow so I carry on enjoying running. It's amazing how a couple of KGs can make such a difference so being 20-25 from my heaviest must be massive. On my bucket list is to do a sub 30 min 5K and eventually sub 60 mins 10K. We've got a local organised 10k to aim for next Sept so plenty of time to do it sensibly. | ||
