2 days cycling. I've now taken a slight detour which adds a mile each way. No other training yesterday.

lol. Not as much as I'd like. BF is high teens, but moving in the right direction. It'll take time I guess, and I can't see me sn pulling 220 any time soon either.

Last night I had the most vivid dream that I was shagging Frankie Sandford, but she had really hairy armpits. I remember Jim Davidson describing this state as 'having two more places to lick" and all, but I'm not feeling it. Today has been confusing.Confused

What does this mean? did you run 2k of the run weighted or carry a 2kg weight for 4k?

The latter mate. I'm hoping there are a few benefits in doing this.
Progressive workload without progressive pace (I struggle to up the pace)
Stops me getting bored and adds another dimension
Helps gainz on gunz as I use wrist weights and try and keep my hands up.

The 1k doesn't seem like much, but I find it makes a difference, especially after several sets of curlz. Milo's bull weighed 2k once.Wink

Very curious to see how the weighted running progresses (careful not to add too much to quickly).

Anything you'vet got your sights on at Parkrun, or just enjoying the Satirday morning blast?

It will be very conservative increases over time Steve and I'll reassess if I get any persistent niggles. It's a suck it and see kind of thing and I want progress to be slow so I carry on enjoying running. It's amazing how a couple of KGs can make such a difference so being 20-25 from my heaviest must be massive.
On my bucket list is to do a sub 30 min 5K and eventually sub 60 mins 10K. We've got a local organised 10k to aim for next Sept so plenty of time to do it sensibly.
