Really good couple of sessions big fella, plenty of graft, and this heat is a real killer, i did my grading for orange belt in karate today and sweated bucket loads from start to fininsh.

yeah i agree should of blasted the 10th but im not normally a repper ,more a trebles man so i was short of air come the ninth and my poor spotter would of struggled if me plus weights fell back on to him , would hate to ruin his womanly good looks !

Swealtering heat today , good session . Tried something new with the sumos as my deads are lagging and find i am on my toes doing conventional deadlifting. The sumo suits my body as i can achieve a 'closer to body bar'position . Obviously not technically perfect yet but i will assess the style and get foot placement and hand positioning over time . Quite pleased i could hit 6 plates on my very first attempt and have a sturdy base to start from......excited to try something new as my leg strength should allow for a pretty good lift in the future .
