Concidering last friday's squatting (135x3x6), i should have gone for 140kgx3x5. The snatch and c&j i just did were high intensity and left me knackered somehow so i felt empty tank.

130kgx3x5

Decided to do one more set.

132,5x3x1


bench press

70kgx3x5
70kgx6x1

By the time i hit the last set i felt stronger than when i started!? Next time i will stick to 70kg and try to 5x5 it, when i manage this i'll be able to bench 87,5kg for 1 rep again.

By that time, if i'm not too much mistaken i'll be worth 150kgatg/87,5kg/160kg.

Been off for two weeks, Xmas then Amsterdam....

Now i'm back in and will take one to two weeks to get to where i was.

What is it with oly lifters and Amsterdam? If I ever go I'm taking my autograph book and will be expecting to see Dimas and Rezazadeh (and maybe FP) in the first whore-house I walk past. Grin

Glad you enjoyed yourself! haha i will have many questions about the oly lifts in the comming months& some terible videos of me murdering the lifts.

Still a poor training, 2 weeks off can do that to you. Couple of weeks ago these numbers were part of my warm up, now they're working sets fcs!!
Thats not a problem, i knew this would happen, same s**t different time, in a couple of sessions i'll be back to my old numbers.

Split jerks, despite being rather easy killed my shoulders and tris enough to realize pressing 70kg for 5x5 wasnt to be done this very day. Then i decided to do what i did without even thinking about it. I wish i could build a 3 to 4 sessions a week routine for my bench, so that i could know where i'm going to, but i guess my lack of interest for the movement remains stronger than my will to build a better bench.
