Well i suppose you know what is a snatch and a c&j already.
Hang clean is a regular clean with the bar at arms lenght roughly to your knees, your legs are bent and you clean it from there. Less speed is availabale which makes the movement interesting.

Ill try to give a definition of the movements i use when i find they're not tooo popular. Feel free to ask about anything if its not crystal.

snatch grip pull Like a deadlift with a snatch grip but much lighter and quicker

80kgx2x1 Too fcuking light again, iam supposed to aimat 80% of 90kg which is 72kg, wtf!?

Real happy with the snatch, been training for month so as to get close to that, was pretty much convinced it would never happen.
Tomorrow will be tough....

clean & jerk

Scales in singles up to 92.5kg no failure, from floor to over head yet a slight pressing from my left arm would give me one or two reds on this lift in comp. I wont count it as a personal record then even if i believe it is, however ill count my % on a 92.5kg max from now on. Coach said i could clean 100kg no problem, my drop/fall under the bar is now much quicker and i got what it takes to bring the bar back up. My weakness lies in the jerk for which my arms are too much tensed/flexed and shouldnt be used that much imo.

Scales again in doubles, up to 145kg atg for 2 reps no failure, didnt feel like trying 150kg right now.

drop snatch : bar along your hips jump and snatch it from there, bit like a hang snatch but starting from the hips, not the knees.

Nah mate, will be in february the 3rd.
I guess i will attempt 60kg/65kg/70kg for the snatch and maybe 85kg/90kg/95kg for the clean and jerk. I'm not too sure about it yet but it will look like that somehow.

Should have been 140kgx2x5, last week back squats were 145kgx2x4.
Pretty happy with the depth.

clean grip pulls

110kgx2x5


lightish drop snatch supersetted with bent over bb rows

drop snatch 40kgx2x5
bo bb rows 60kgx5x5

Would need to up the weight on the rows if i want to keep on doing them on a regular basis.

Another comp again in the gym today so couldnt train as i wished i would, which isnt that bad since i feel a bit bored atm.
