Now i'm back on tracks snatch, (no jump, you get on your tip toes but dont take off the floor) 65kgx2x4 power snatch, (no jump, you get on your tip toes but dont take off the floor) 60kgx2x2 1 clean + 2 jerks@ 85% 85kgx1x4 fronties 110kgx3x4 Was talking with one of the coaches in my gym about my main flaws. The man underlined several points that could be brought together since they happen in the very beginning of my snatch and c&j. My bach is fixed and arched, chest is open, shoulders rise first, yet sometimes my arse gets up too early and sometimes maybe too late. This makes my back work when it should be a leg pull mostly. We then decided to build some new lightish clean grip pulls in, and focus on this default so as to see one pull only. It must be the same always. I reckon i've a lot of technical work to do, and it will take me a long time to nail this good so i'd rather look after it starting now. light clean grip pull 80kgx3x6 These were done like my coach said it should be, new attitude then here as well as some sweat dropped. Felt pretty uncomfortable at first, like i dont have enough space to perform the lift. I admit it might sound a bit silly, but it's the first time i've been asked to isolate a muscle group. Pretty happy with the result and will rebuild my pulls from there. Stretched then left. Cheers. | ||

I decided in my own fooliness to redo this one straight away and got a much better one out of it. Concentration made me fail, i believe the fourth rep was much better even if it wasnt as deep as the other, it was deep enough. Should be good for 145kgx3x5 in a good day. Stretched then left. Empty barbellxsh!tload 40kgx5x1 50kgx5x1 60kgx2x1 70kgx2x2 80kgx2x1 90kgx2x1fast pull and good jerk, havent c&j that good ever[] 95kgx2x1pr. As good as 90kg, should be worth 100kgx1x1, last comp in february i missed 95kgx1x1. powercleans 80kgx2x3 hang snatch 80% 60kgx2x4 Easy stuff. fronties 120kgx2x5[:@]Hard fcukers. 1 set more than last time. drop snatch 40kgx4x6 chin-ups bwx8x3 Good session overall, pretty happy with the c&j and fronties, stretched then left. How we laughed! Who said Olympic weightlifting ain't fun? You get to play Colt Seevers in the fall guy[] As i cant obviously power snatch 70kg yet, i went down to 65kg again. 65kgx2x3 All this took me way too long though. power snatch 60kgx3x2 snatch grip high pull These must be done up to the throat. 50kgx5x5 squat 145kgx2x3 135kgx3x2 125kgx5x1 Under regime there, not much in tank by that time so couldnt squat what i wish i would, which was 157.5/160kg for doubles, 140kg for triples and a little 130kgx5x1 for the road, which apart from the last set have all been nailed at least once. standing BB military press 40kgx4x6 I remember when i wasnt training OL, i was starting with exercices like these, squats and BB mil press; and could expect to improve and put some weight on the bar. Now i got to do these empty tank like, shifting weights that dont improve very much and can be embarassing as well...Anyway, i chose to improve my snatch and c&j above all and will be keeping at it. You drop under the bar in a full snatch position. Damn i'm rubish at this, what a load of bulls**t really, i looked in pain uncomfortable and slow, that's something i need to improve real quick along with the snatch press. Journal's updated, didnt want to add bench yet, i cant find time to give 1rm a go, best one is 75kgx5x5 though. Deadlift as i said earlier i dont do anymore, used to dl 160kg for 1rm a year ago. I believe i'm much stronger now. Squats are 160kg for 2rm. | ||

Legs were fried by then. clean grip split press Hope translation makes sense. This exercice is way harder than the standard BB military press me thinks. 40kgx7x6 Good sesh overall despite my c&j doubles which i would have liked being in their 90kgish. Im in no rush...
