If only i could have a session as good as this one every month... snatch Scales in doubles un to 70kgx2x1 I've never doubled 70kg yet, used to be my best bar. 63kgx2x2 Then scales again but in singles this time up to 73kgx1x1 snatched it good, over head and all yet this would have been a 'no lift' in comp as i noticed a slight delay in my arms... 73kgXF completly fcuked this one 73kgx1x1 pr. One of the best snatch i've ever done, real quick and smooth, the pull was good enough i had almost no pain in getting under. I believe now it is the only way to go.[] snatch grip pull/deadlift excentric (5sec descent) 80kgx3x5 Difficult yet less taxing than last time, made every rep count, more focused than before because i'm fed up with being tortured by this exercice. front squat Last time triples were 105kgx3x4 today i went for 110kgx3x4 Felt a bit dizzy in the third set but nothing important. bench I havent benched last week which was due to both lazyness and lack of time. Was to be 72.5kgx5x5 72.5kgx5x1 fook it lets put 75kg! 75kgx5x5 Nailed them all, last rep of last set was real tight though. Pretty happy with that, i've never ever benched 75kg for 5x5 in my life, ever. There was a time when i used to bench two to three times a week first thing, 72,5kgx5x5 was my best try. My coach said working dynamics and strenght isnt something one should underestimate. I'm starting to think people might be right telling me olympic lifting will improve strenght, velocity, flexibility, stamina and general fitness. I believe i need to solidify this as it is my weakest movement, wouldnt be fair to update my total yet me thinks, i need to try my hands at singles first. Thanks for the kind words | ||

pink french superstar beard Member 26, 4030 posts SQ 190, BP 0, DL 205395.0 kgs @ 75kgs UnEq | 20/02 As usual once you've had a good session, you cant reasonably expect another one in a row, but i knew that before hand. clean & jerk Should have been 85kgx2x3 yet my shoulders are sore/fcuked from yesterday's benching, havent recovered yet so went for 80kgx2x6 clean grip pull/deadlift 110kgx3x5 squat, excentric 5 sec descent 125kgx3x5 A tad easy, last one were 120kgx3x5 though. Some fcuker told me not to squat that low, that having such a depth is bad for your knees blah blah blah. I dont know how to express how less i can give a fcuk tbh, yet to my surprise my coach agreed with him![&:] My back is straight and every charges are mastered, i dont take any chance ,ffs!!! I clean low therefore i've to squat low, two coaches out of three share my vision though, i've even been told by one of them not too change anything depth wise!!? snatch press (behind the neck bb press with a sn grip 30kgx6x6 Shame! I've never trained unfunctional in my life and now i pay for it [] Better than last time empty barbell though. bw chin-ups 4x6 stretched then left. | ||

The one who told me not to squat too low is the most experienced and the one who makes the trainings. He thinks there is little point in getting too deep, that you should be able to harvest the benefits from squatting bellow // all the same, even an OL lifter. Thing is hes not wrong, his best pupil cleans 140+ on a regular basis, catching the bar just below//. I've been told by another one, an old git this one not to change anything, that my squats being low is not a problem, changing depth over different charges on the other hand shouldnt be done. It is a sign of suppleness which is a good point, it's going to be harder yet my range of progression is then more important. The third one is 28yo/62kg with a total of(85/105) and says it is the only way to go, that anything else is not a squat. | ||

Did some benching with an empty tank by then, nothing worth reporting. Stretched then left. Cheers. | ||
