Thanks. Yes, nearly passed out. I crouched down and tried to stay conscious! All that effort for 1 point!

Good effort Wayne!

Are you ready to evolve your training now to address your weaknesses and improve your placing next year, or are you still adamant it's all working for you? Wink

A positive comment from Col_Austin!! You feeling OK??

An improvement in fitness/recovery is definitely needed.

Have you seen the photos of my BELTLESS car dead lifting? Wink

I was really pleased with my grip strength on Sunday. It remained solid for 22 reps on the car (smooth handles) and I managed to complete the yoke/farmer's medley afterwards.

Happy

I don't think I've been anything other than positive Wayne. I've been only too happy to try and give you a few pointers for your training.

I agree about your fitness. At 5'4" and 100kg you must be carrying a fair amount of unnecessary excess bodyfat.

Good beltless deadlift too, although, with a 2" ROM, a belt wasn't going to make much difference either way. Being a strongman is about more than being a one-trick pony though, so don't get too carried away. Wink

Dont get me wrong, Wayne doesn't look like a BB Grin, but you wouldn't say he was overweight really TBH

That's an exaggeration! Look at the photos! But yes, I know that my lack of height gave me a BIG advantage in that event. It all balances out though. The stone platforms were HIGH!
