Hello chaps,

I have the following for sale, all originally bought from Strengthshop:

2 x 15kg 'Rebel' Pro Bumper Plate, product no longer on the Strengthshop website but equivalent to: https://www.strengthshop.co.uk/weight-plates/15kg-deluxe-rubber-chr...

2 x 10kg Black Strengthshop Bumper Plates: https://www.strengthshop.co.uk/weight-plates/black-bumper-plates/10...

All are used but otherwise in very good condition!

(I have had no problems at all with the quality of the products - I'm just moving out of the country and won't be taking these with me!)

Pickup from Eastbourne area, but could meet halfway or somewhere else mutually convenient if buying the whole set and within a reasonable distance (can only do this within the next 10 days though, as I'm selling the car after that!).

Thanks for the reply buzzman. They're being used frequently for oly lifts (5 times a week or so), and dropped onto one of your gym mats which is on top of a rubber floor. I only just noticed it today, and the plates hadn't been behaving any differently so it hasn't seemed to have made a difference so far.

The metal insert (is this the bushing?) does move around a bit but I wouldn't describe it as overly loose at this point and it's not broken or anything like that.

A bit of googling suggests using a sub-flooring adhesive to secure the metal insert again if it becomes looser.

Buzz, apologies if this is a silly question, but concerning your bumper plates, the metal ring at the centre of the plate (into which you put the bar), is this meant to spin around? On all four of the plates I bought from you (two 20kgs, two 10kgs in different orders) the metal ring is a bit loose and spins around freely.

Is this supposed to happen?

I was about to congratulate you on your jerk PB but now you go and get a couple of others too!! jerk PB, playing with your snatch PB and a paused squat PB (after a bunch of other paused reps too), what more can you ask for? Happy

I hear you on busy gyms, mine is pretty quiet the times I go fortunately, but when it's busy it's easy to lose focus, so double well done on that!

The 90 c+j is only a matter of time away, and your behind neck press is looking strong, better than mine for sure!

We'll have to sort out another session soon my friend!

thanks Nick, Smallcoach disapproves of hissy fits and emotional outbursts, but they have to be done!

thanks Luke my friend, the complex is a lot tougher than it should be because I lack skills from the hang! but they shall be acquired. 180x3 is okay but should really be routine weight! thanks again mate!
