It's early days and you have to find what works for you, but I always eat after training (I think most OMAD do)

That said, life gets in the way so you got to do what you do. Give it 2-3 weeks and if you're losing keep doing it. If not try something different.Happy

What/how do you eat on your non fasted days?
Could you not get the same results with just a lower Calorie diet?

Almost certainly mate. I find it works for me as its easier for me to control when I eat rather than when to stop if that makes sense. I enjoy pigging out so for me it's the best of both worlds. The price I pay is I only get to do it once a day, which for me is a good trade off.
I tend to not have non fast days so I'll stick with it until I'm at target weight then start to add in smaller meals through the day.

almost certainly but like Andy i'm better at abstinance than portion control so it works well for me , plus you get the benefits of fasting if you make your one hour eating window an hour later each day. i've done it 4 days running and feel pretty good on it , hving said that i wrecked my back at work on monday so haven't been training.

back to it today but very carefully as the back is still a touch tender:

bench press 60kx10 70kx10 80kx6/6/6
rer delt flys 6k kettlebells 10/10/10
skull crushers 25kx20 35kx10/10

did one meal today but i think i manged over 2000 calories in the hour eating window

no its just the same old problem old injury that raises its head if it gets overstrained , deadlifts on sunday followed by carrying a chop saw bench and saw into work like a t**t instead of breaking it down and carrying it in like a normal person.

back slowly improving , i'm strongly considering dropping deadlifts all together.

benchpress 60kx20 70kx1070kx8 side lateral raises 6k kettlebell 10/10/10

3x3 minute rounds on the heavy bag 1 mins rest between sets
3x 3minute rounds on the double under bag 1 mins rest between sets
i've decided that trying to maintain strength training whilst losing weight is just going to be demoralising so i'm going to be moving over to more pump fitness based stuff
i'll be getting some sand next week to make a sand bag probably only 50k so i can do some circuits mixing it up with kettlebells and bodyweight stuff

i am really interested in this Ed.

I have reduced my weight and increased and altered my training and look and feel a new man this past 12 months.

I have heard about fasting for health benifits... are you doing the 1 meal a day at weekends or in the working week mate?

im not sure I could go all day at work on no food...and what do you drink on fasting days if i may ask that is sir?

btw, your knowledge on American politics is quiet outstanding Ed.
