» Lifting at 8months Pregnant (Go to post)19-09-2013 @ 11:48

The NHS does not rule out weightlifting/crossfit - but then again it may just assume that people would not undertake pull-ups and snatches when pregnant..?

However, it does rule out gymnastics and any sport where there is a risk of falling; so I suppose that could well be a broad brush covering weightlifting and hanging off bars suspended in the air.

I can't imagine any midwives and obstetricians I know endorsing this as a sensible exercise regimen for a heavily pregnant woman.

I'm always tapping you for advice; but your squats and front squats are a thing of beauty. What are your top 3 flexibility/mobility exercises to help with being upright (and deep) in the bottom position?

As thanks - here is a video of ECW One Night Stand (which you may have already seen):

Really good luck to you mate; it's just fun and games lifting weights. Spending time with your kids, running around like a mad man with them are things you'll never get to do again.

Just don't disappear from this site. You've always been generous with your time - ans it'll be really interesting to see your transformation to a sleeker unit; and how you go about it.

He is an old man. An old man surrounded by young men who he now has to live vicariously through. Once you accept that - he ain't so bad.

People like yourself are the reason Sugden is, at heart, only 18 inches away from a great place to be.

Do you do Bulgarian split squats with a bar or dumbbells? I have weak legs and thought these might help?

Also nice to see a lifter with full blown sponsorship going on. Acer on his towel and lifting suit!!

I saw that - it also seemed like he was "repping" his sponsor after the lift.
