4" Deficit Deadlift - no belt:

Bar x 10
30kg x 5
40kg x 5
60kg x 5
80kg x 3
100kg x 3
120kg x 1
140kg x 1
160kg x 1
180kg x 1

Felt like 200+ was there. But that is not what I came to do.

Pendlay Rows:

40kg x 5
60kg x 5
80kg x 5
100kg x 5 x 3 sets

SSB Squats with no hands on bar:

Bar x 5
50kg x 5
70kg x 8 x 3 sets
Strangely rewarding.

Weighted Pullups up to BW +25kg

Back Extensions:

10 x 3 sets.

Glute work.

In bodybuilding they always say black guys can't grow calves.

I very much doubt that calves are the be-all-and-end-all of strength sports.

Back to the gym.

Decided to treat life in the gym as a build up to a competition - regardless of my immediate plans.

If the opportunity takes my fancy, I will drop in to a competition. If not, at least I am not simply spinning my wheels.

Knees have been playing up - because I have been lazy and not done my exercises!!!!

Warm up and rolling and stretching.

DOH Axle Deadlifts:

40kg x 10
60kg x 5
80kg x 5
100kg x 10 x 4 sets

Axle Press:

Bar x 10
30kg x 10
40kg x 10 x 4 sets

Back Extensions:

10 x 4 sets

Various Rotator Cuff stuff.
