I just use it as normal. Warm up sets are done beltless and top sets are all belted. I think its more important to learn to activate your abs than it is to use or not use a belt. I hop that answer isnt too s**t.

155kg x 5 x 6 - first 2 sets hook grip then with straps



romanian deadlift - 70kg x 4 sets of 8

pull downs - 4 sets


Then I did an abdominal exercise that is not on the Rob approved list but I did it anyway. Kettlebell windmill. It felt great!

I eat absolutely loads of raw cabbage. I really like it, its so crispy and enjoyable. Especially red cabbage. I also sometimes have raw onion, carrot, broccoli, kale... what have you
