My thumbs don't like hook grip anymore mate. My back was seizing up by the set. I was meant to do a forth but thought I'd rather have a sauna instead

Hips felt sore as they have for a while, I'm going to keep on training and hope it passes. No speed in the stones but still went ok

hiya James,sorry if its been gone over in the past and I know its not at the top of every strongman's priority list but what does a typical days eating look like? im sure you burn kcals like no tomorrow but wondered if it was generally clean or you just put it away and let the training do the rest....

I should have it this year funky monkey

Jimmyf, I make sure I get enough protein every few hours, apart from that I eat mainly what I want, within reason. I'm cleaning up my diet at the minute in the build up to the qualifiers but I won't have to watch my weight because as it stands I'm not doing 90's (except euro's in September)

All very comfortable. I was expecting my hamstring to stop me but it didn't so hopefully I can train properly again

Front squat

120 x 1 (trying different techniques as they are all beltless)

140 x clean but no press

Shoulder still bothering me but I think once I get that sorted I should get some decent weight up
