Yes mate, I've watched countless vids of the best sumo pullers and each one is different. Everyone is built differently so it's finding what works best for you as you say. I've had input from Macca too which is always welcomed!

lol Macca should pull Sumo with that massive leg power but will he listen.....Roll-Eyes Tongue

Thanks mate.. But why would I need to get my arse down more?! I've purposefully worked on setting my hips higher and engaging my hamstrings to pull from there without shooting my hips. If I get lower, which I was doing before and is on my other vids, then my hips just raise up before the bar moves. This is a much better position to initiate my pull and puts me in a better position to finish..

good points mate and it has shown to be effective at how ur squats and deads have gone up so quickly, everyone seems to think sumo has to be done a certain way when in reality its personal preference to where you feel strongest to pull from.
» Macca - Squats - 235kg x 7 (Go to post)17-10-2014 @ 17:41
more impressive for me personally than the single PB mate.

Looks like you've finally hit some good consistency with technique and lifts mate, gains on all 3 have been very good mate.

On a roll matey, c'mon though I wanna see some big numbers on the deadlift being moved, get sumo'ing...you it know it makes sense Tongue
» Macca - Squats - 247.5kg x 2 - 255.5kg x 1 - 263kg x 1 (PB) - 222.5kg x 6 (Go to post)09-10-2014 @ 18:35
You'll very rarely see Macca squat high tbh, the 263kg looked a bit tentative but when its a PB its going to be a bit, he'll smash it lower and quicker next time, whichever way, at a genuine 83kg and drug free, its awesome lifting in anyone's book.

don't think the 157.5kg moved badly at all tbh matey :-)

Have a chat wi Macca about emShane he knows his stuff, he has the pl bar which is awesome tbh, the Ivanko is also a great bar and 200ish cheaper...depends though, Pullum may do you a deal.

I ended up with a plain old texas buddy capps bar for 370 delivered and tbh.....its fukin excellent, was going to get an Eleiko as had trained with Macca's a lot and love it...but this one I have stands up well Ive got to say.
