Light Bench Day

Bench Press
1 x 10 40kg
1 x 5 60kg
2 x 8 67.5kg

Close Grip Fat Bar Bench Press
1 x 8 55kg
1 x 5 65kg
1 x 5 75kg
1 x 3 85kg

Rope Tricep Pushdowns
3 x 10 28kg

Pulldowns
2 x 8 80kg

Happy with the session today, especially the close grip bench - using the fat bar hit triceps even more than usual.

Wierd session today, new PB beltless squat and when i put my belt on for 3x3 at 125kg it all went wrong... Failed deapth on all but 1 125 with belt, i wasnt feeling my best going in to the gym today so i guess that is why. Did some heavy walkouts afterwards to try and get used to the weights on my back, felt quite good. Wasnt confident enough to walk out the 200kg, held it over the hooks in the power cage for 10 seconds.

Squat Day

Squats
1 x 5 70kg
1 x 3 90kg
1 x 2 105kg
1 x 1 115kg
1 x 1 125kg (Beltless PB)
1 x 3 125kg Belt
1 x 2 125kg Belt
1 x 1 125kg Belt
1 x 1 160kg walkout
1 x 1 180kg walkout
1 x 1 200kg lift off

Weighted Side Bends
1 x 15 28kg each side

Hip Adduction
2 x 15 145kg

He leans in too much at times and this causes his hips to rise and thus makes it harder to hit depth. When his technique is good and he keeps his chest up and leads with it he's much stronger and hits depth no problem.

My technique was perfect on the 115kg today, it flew up and was easilly to deapth. the 125kg was a bit worse but when i put the belt on i just couldnt focus properly on what i was doing and kept looking down...

Light Bench Day

Bench Press
1 x 10 40kg
1 x 10 50kg
1 x 8 60kg
3 x 8 67.5kg

Axle Clean And Press
1 x 3 35kg
1 x 1 45kg
1 x 1 55kg
1 x 1 65kg
1 x 1 75kg (PB)
1 x F 85kg

Rope Tricep Pushdowns
3 x 10 32.5kg

Tate Press
2 x 15 18kg

This was my first time doing clean and press, should increase by quite a bit once i get the technique down, i am still struggling a bit with it. My hands where way too close together and so it was really unstable, but that is easilly corrected. I hope to get at least 90kg up by christmas.

Toby, there is no point in you using the axle for c&p. To clean an axle is far harder than a barbell and the grip aspect will restrict you improving your technique.

I'm jealous that you guys have an axle!
It's the run up to the liftoff. You starting your peaking next week?

Awesome stuff. I'm gonna have to attempt a couple of doubles soon too. I have no idea what my dead and squat singles are.

Didnt really feel like deadlifting today so i decided to squat again, dont know if it was a good idea or not but it went quite well anyway, and i did the assistance exercises i usually do for deadlifting afterwards. Stupidly long session (i was in the gym for about 3 hours) but i feel quite good after it. Failed the squat with wraps on due to deapth, at least 2" away. Felt really fast out of the bottom so it shouldnt be much of a problem getting depath next time i try it. Technique coming on even more, quite happy with it now.

Squat Day #2

Squats
1 x 5 60kg
1 x 5 70kg
1 x 4 90kg
1 x 2 110kg
1 x 1 125kg
1 x 1 130kg (Beltless PB)
1 x 1 140 Belt
1 x 1 145 (Belted PB)
1 x 1 155kg Knee Wraps

Good-Mornings
1 x 8 80kg
1 x 8 90kg

Weighted Hyperextensions
2 x 15 BW + 10kg

Hip Adduction
2 x 15 145kg

Reverse Grip Pulldowns
2 x 8 90kg

Stiff Leg Deadlift
1 x 5 70kg
1 x 5 90kg
1 x 5 120kg
2 x 3 130kg

EZ-Bar Curls
3 x 15 27.5kg
