I was gonna try it today, but i gave up when i couldnt find 2 20's that fit together properly - someone was using one of the ones that you normally use for it, and it seemed like every other one i picked up was slightly warped...

Those are the only 2 that fit together dude! I've chalked them up aswell so they hold chalk better.

Fun session today. Squatting is coming back well, i hope to go to 170-180 next week.

Squats
1 x 5 20kg
1 x 5 60kg
1 x 1 80kg
1 x 1 100kg
1 x 1 120kg
1 x 1 140kg belt on
1 x 1 160kg - deep, easy and fast.

hammy curls, calf raises, weighted hypers, reverse hypers all 3x10.

Finished off with pinch gripping 2x20kg plates twice - hadnt planned to even try this today as i trained grip yesterday, but i found 2 plates that fit together well for Craig, so i gave it a go myself and it didnt feel that hard this time!

I was just f**king around to be honest, i didnt expect to move them due to my forearms being stupidly sore today - i think i could get 2-3 reps out with it on a fresh attempt now.

2 x 1 100kg iso 3sec holds just off chest
1 x 1 105kg
1 x 1 107.5kg PB - all really smooth today, feeling very strong. At least 110kg next week on these.
1 x 5 100kg

Finished off with a few sets of neutral grip pulldowns, but i only had about 10mins for all assistance so didnt get much in!

Pinch looked strong today mate. Not many people are hitting 2x20kg plates.

Forgot to list that, will do proper grip work on my next bench session in the week, tues or wed by the looks of things.

Did some paused high bar squats, nothing that heavy today. Working on getting the positions right. Massive weakness of mine, so i am focussing on it for a few weeks now.

Finished off with hammy curls, calf raises and weighted hypers.

1 x 10 20kg
1 x 5 60kg
1 x 1 80kg
1 x 1 100kg
1 x 1 110kg 3sec hold off chest - PB

1 x 2 60kg
1 x 2 65kg
1 x 2 70kg
1 x 2 75kg
1 x 2 80kg
all pretty fast, cocked up a few reps due to shoulder slipping on the bench

Dumbbell rows, neutral grip pulldowns and loads of grip work. Total of 10 reps with 2x20kg right hand pinch (PB 3 reps in one set), 1 rep left hand - PB, 10sec holds with 15kg plates, double overhand rack lockouts working up to 210kg - just held on to it, was v tough and a short hold at 200kg. FInished off with some holds with a 50kg plate, just for good measure.

Time to play F1 2010 all night!!

Its going well at the moment man, i got another PB today on high bar - no pause as my glute is still cramping sometimes.

Squats High Bar
1 x 5 20kg
1 x 5 60kg
1 x 1 70kg
1 x 1 80kg
1 x 1 90kg
1 x 1 100kg
1 x 1 110kg
1 x 1 120kg
1 x 1 130kg
1 x 1 140kg - beltless high bar PB
1 x 1 150kg - belt on
1 x 1 160kg - slight lean... Decided to stop here

Finished off with stiff leg deadlifts working up to a heavy triple, 5x10 hamstring curls, loads of weighted hyperextensions and some reverse hypers to help stretch the glute out some more. Its feeling much stronger and better now but it is still stiffening up every now and then...

You're training through the injury well dude. You just need one of those wee Japanese massage chicks to walk all over your glute every night. That'd speed recovery along nicely haha Wink
