Very good. It's fast turning out to be the best position I've had with me pants on.

They must like you at work to risk promoting a f**ked old man. Wink

"In the land of the blind the one eyed man is king"

It's all relative Rick. It's IT. Someone who cycles 10 mile to work, then looks forward to cycling 10 mile home for a workout is pretty much considered super human by the masses. The same masses are equally f**ked in the head by a 12 Weetabix breakfast. Intelligence is no guarantee of common sense Confused

Joking aside I set off for this kind of career progress about 3 years ago. It was time.

Another easing back in session. Low resistance, high volume, no thinking.

Death by dead lift - 60k

20 rounds. Looks quite paltry written down like that, but it blew my pipes through alright. 2 seconds left as I put the bar down. Not enough time to get enough recovery to do anymore, and even less inclination.

Tonnage 60k - 12600
Tonnage 100K - 10300

Kind of blows that theory out of the water Unhappy

I love that quote. If you haven't read the story you should, it's a real eye-opener (excuse the pun)

Congratulations on the job.

20 rounds.

Impressive Mr. L. That's 57 reps more than I did. Every round counts for a lot in the big numbers.

Congratulations on the job.

Thanks Pete.
My old fella used to put a different spin on it as he wore glasses. "In the land of the 2 eyed t**t the 4 eyed t**t is king". Either works.

Thanks again. I think with these numbers every rep and every Kg makes a massive difference. I would surprise if I could get past 18 with just 10kg more.

Are they still 'on' if you only managed to get them to your knees?

Big tonnage, Andy!

Are you practicing for the DBD Comp @ Adlington?

Didn't know there was one. If anyone ever lets me know details I'll try and get over. If not I'll just continue training for the zombie holocaust.

Thanks Aaron. Are you just doing 1 particular weight and rep direction? May need mixing up a bit mate. Can you pass 16 with 55k?
