me n ready brek dont see eye to eye. i prefer the taste though i can never get it right in the microwave, usually comes out cold in middle so put back in n it explodes everywhere leaving me with 1 spoon left n the bottom of bowl n a big mess to clear up for all my efforts lol. now i stick to morrisons instant hot oats, very similar in taste etc but a lil easier for me to get right n alot cheaper. | |||

i appreciate ur concern paul however i do have a plan but with me been ill this week i was in no shape to stick to it, also i got a weird way with volume atm, e.g. say shoulders in a week, 1 day push press about 4 sets of 4. another day strict press 4 sets of 4, then followed by DB pressing for 3 sets of 10. DB's r assistance but also volume. i do this with most things i keep main exercises low reps n assistance for volume. such as deads all low reps usually n SLDL for assistance is normally sets of 10 reps. only exception is squats but i squat twice a week 1 session again low reps n the other sets of 8. also 1 week out of each 6 week mesocycle i intend to do all high rep work and another week mainly heavy singles | |||

another bodged session really jus a few reps of a few weights instead of nothing. guna have next 3 days off tho so i should be back to being as weak as usual by monday. Deadlifts 100 x 2 120 x 2 140 x 2 150 x 2 160 x 1 / wanted 2 but failed 2nd every rep felt i was guna pass out, most of them was slow n crappy, what wud b normally a disappointin session im actually quite pleased with bcos my head was that bad i was debating wether to miss deads or not, its only bcos im so weak i cnt afford to miss a week. Fronties 41 x 5 61 x 5 81 x 4 86 x 4 91 x 4 rep PB i think again every set was a grind, glad its over. missed back squats feel too drained. overall prob the shortest workout in sets n reps iv done in a long time but probably the hardest ever session. iv done workouts hungover that felt easier than this. proud of myself for going through with it. smiley face for me ha | |||

cheers paul. having abit of an off week this week while i recover. consists of sun mon tue off, then fit in the primary lifts between weds thurs - usually OH, bench press, deadlifts weds n front n back squat thurs - then fri sat sun off. this way i dont have to deload as much weight. also do about 5-10 rep sets. | |||

Post Edited: 28.09.2011 @ 17:12 PM by DomRedshaw dodgy session, still feel abit under the weather but wanted t lift something.as soon as i picked a weight up my head was pounding so didnt attempt any deads. strict press 40k x 5 50k x 5 60k x 5 70k x 5 push press 70k x 5 72.5k x 5 75k x 5 strict press 27k x 30 had a break n a creatine drink bench press 57k x 10 felt heavy for a warm up 77k x 10 91k x 9 failed lockout on 10th rep / also felt a pain in my back 57k x 18 left it there, jus didnt have the energy as diet is still off n head felt funny (like a light headedness poss blood pressure). overall annoyed i couldnt fit deadlifts in but happy to finally lift something forgot to mention iv lost 6lbs in BW too |
