Bodyweight is important this year for the British Bench press record attempt but am very happy and feel that it really benefits my squatting too. I find my weight attributes to my lifts and also i remain injury free as my bulk protects my tendons and ligaments.
I have been adding approx 1stone a year for 10 years so it takes a while and is only about a lb a month. My chest is 60odd inch at the moment i cant imagine it would grow much more now so the leverage thing would not really be an issue .
clothes are a nightmare tho and i break everything i sit on so it does come with its negatives Alton towers is a no no as are little cars etc etcConfused
