sunday:

Came into the gym with the intention of just sorting out my body after a weekend of drumming which makes my hips and shoulders tight and kind of uneven. Did some stretching and a few kind of rehab/prehab.

Decided to do some low bar squats for the first time in absolutely months, and tried a way of doing it that I've never done before (medium stance, bare feet, letting my knees go out over my toes rather than trying to twist my feet outwards)

Ok so I didn't really go very heavy loal but the movement its self was pretty decent. I got someone to check my depth/technique and it was all good.

Thank you very much. I want to get 100kg x 12 because that might mean that I coould do 140kg x 1 which would be enjoyable

Thanks! I actually dont think it was that bad, though I probably had to have a little lie down. Around my peak I did 200kg x 10 semi sumo so I hind of have to live up to that

Wanted about 12 reps on 100kg yesterday. Big drop off in strength probably largely due to 3 consecutive days of drinking too much, not enough sleep and poor nutrition. Some other factors in there too.
