warm up:
-hip aeroplane
-bulgarian split squat

Box squat

bar
50
80
100

110kg x 5
120kg x 5
130kg x 5
120kg x 5,5

Then I did some bulgarian split squats, a weird kettle bell ab exercise that I made up, hip marching exercise and lots of stretching.

They are amazing.

I recently felt that a sausage configured in a ring format, is a superior eating experience than a standard straight sausage.

Where do I get them? You know what is really really good? Proper sausages with mash and loads of that gravy that is basically 90% caramelised onion. So much of that gravy in fact that the meal needs to be served in some type of bowl or something rather than a flat plate. Maybe put some extra onion chutney on it or something.

I bet this transaction won't involve a new £5 note.

warm up:
-hip aeroplanes
-rotator cuff stretching and what have you

strict press

bar
40

50kg x 5
57.5kg x 5
52.5kg x 5,5
50kg x 7

very good!

Then I did 3 to 5 sets of 8 to 15 reps on the following:

-chinups
-upside down kettlebell press
-db shoulder press
-machine rows
-side raises
-rear delt flies
-curls
-tricep pushdowns
-lat pulldowns

I did most of these sets between sets of each other, so I was resting very little.

I then did about 4 minutes of cardio and went home.

Do you ever use any banded distraction techniques when stretching like the ones Kelly Tourette does?

I've been doing quite a bit lately and they are really helping my hip mobility. Not so much from a muscular aspect but more to do with opening up the hip capsule which is always tight sue to the amount of sitting down I do at work etc

Thanks for the honest CJ

Upside down kettlebell press sounds good.
Also the 4 minutes of cardio. The heart will get gainsed from that.

Upside down kettlebell press is great. Its a Chris Duffin thing. I may add that the kettlebell is the thing thats upside down. It makes the shoulder work hard for stability.

With regards to the short cardio session, I was absolutely wrecked after my lifting session and just couldnt handle any cardio. I'v been suffering from low blood sugar a lot recently, after a gym session or even at work nearing the end of my shift I will get so tired and energyless that I can barely support my own bodyweight anymore. One time this caused me to pass out in a lecture.

Carl, I am not entirely sure what youre referring to but it sounds intriguing. Could you perhaps provide a link to something or other?
