310 is a heavy yoke mate, dont forget that!! Just forget it and move on if you weren't happy with it! You really going to concentrate on getting ready for Midlands after Xmas?

dont get me wrong im not down about it - they cant all be good ones! the 107.5 would have been closer if not finished had I not messed the turn up and the 310 yoke wasnt so bad. just would have liked a bit more speed on the 280. neil - thanks man, that does look good but I think the volume would be too much for my shins. even with the stripped down workout im doing now my legs and feet f**king kill after! i suffer from flat feet ( collapsed arches) and found that when i support the arch then the shin splits are almost gone maybe so that may help you, but some light work outs or day i say it a deload would help a wee bit
WILLSAN17/12/08 @ 14:43
yeah ive got flat feet too. I got some trainers with a high arch and they do the trick with my shins but my feet hurt instead now! I agree about taking it easy for a week or so. ill probably do a light week after xmas or something.

i just stick with the high arch trainers wear them progressively i.e an hour then 2 hours then 3 and so on until you can wear them with out pain and for long periods

Training Today:
2.5" Platform deadlifts:
140kg x 3
160kg x 2
180kg x 1
200kg x 1
220kg x 1 +10kg PB
180kg 2 x 1
200kg x 1
222.5kg x 1 +12.5kg PB
Power Cleans:
60kg x 4
70kg x 3
80kg x 2
90kg x 2
100kg x fail, 1
105kg x fail
yeah baby! gotta love this dl routine. 12.5kg pb in 5 weeks! form broke down on the 222.5kg because my grip on my left hand slipped but it went up still. cleans felt good on the lighter sets but I was loosing form on the heavier ones.

Very nice deads buddy, we told you they would come good once you actually started training them LOL Got to be good to smash a 240 PB from the mfloor now? Happy days!
Joni19/12/08 @ 14:09

i think you took over my platform dead pb there, i think i've pulled 220.
in recognition of that, swedish hip hop!

thanks mate, I really hope so! forgot to say that is the most ive pulled from any height without a belt. I put it on for the build up sets to 222.5kg but it just felt uncomfortable and didnt seem to be giving me any extra!
