thanks brian! boar the yokes alternate use is a climbing frame for my kids...until their mum sees the oil stains all over their clothes and I get a bollocking.

My low back felt s**tty before I started again. Im in need of a light week I think. Really feel im only scratching the surface as far as log technique goes. Some reps feel like nothing in my hands and some feel really tough. The first two 100kg singles were piss easy - the third just felt wrong from the start.

So I know where im at now. Roughly 10kg down on my pre knee injury PBs on front and back squat. Im pleased with that considering I was squatting 40kg x 6 six weeks ago. The 180 back squat was me right on the limit (burst a few blood vessels). I went a bit too deep which messed up my form a little making it harder than it should have been. Felt really strong on the fronties. 130 was comfortable enough that 140 (my previous PB) was considered but I decided not to risk a failed lift. Ill save that for another day.

Thanks joni. Its hard to say but 130 did feel really good. I think yoke training has helped my core strength for front squat. Ill maybe front squat first and go for a 145 PB next week or the week after!

Nothing too heavy as I was working on my technique today. Shoulder felt good on the farmers until the medley when I got a little twinge. Fingers crossed its not too bad.

Again another great workout. I think ive finally got my head around this log pressing business. I know what I need to do now its just a question of getting my arms and legs do it. First attempt at 110 I lost balance again and dropped the f**ker. The weight felt ok though so I was fairly sure I could get it on my second attempt which I did. I feel like ive got the strength to go heavier but my balance issues make my pressing a bit hit and miss.

Thanks rob hopefully going to rename it the 115kg log club soon! Boar - yeah that was a new PB. Im pretty hit and miss with my max log attempts. I think im capable of a bit more on a good day! I got my log a couple of months ago and ive only just cracked the technique.
