Training today: Snatch: 20kg x 3 40kg x 1 50kg x 1 60kg x 1 80kg fail 80kg x 1 85kg fail 85kg x 1 90kg 2 fails 87.5kg fail 87.5kg x 1 Snatch/overhead squat: 80kg x 1/3 made sure I warmed up better this week. feel stronger but I still cant hit that bas***d 90. lesson for today was 'loosen up' which seems counter to last week's 'more aggression' but I think itll work somehow. oh squats much more controlled than last time I did 80. vid: | ||

Trump will get another four years Member 126, 16708 posts SQ 160, BP 110, DL 225495.0 kgs @ 75kgs UnEq | Training today: Axle clean + press: 50kg x 3 60kg x 3 70kg x 2 80kg x 1 80kg x 7 in 75secs Yoke (10m course): 130kg for 20m 170kg for 20m 210kg for 20m 260kg for 20m - 20secs Farmers walk (12m course): 70kg for 24m 105kg for 24m - 22secs Keg carry: 90kg for 48m - 36secs PB switched my overhead to axle this week as my heavier dumbells are lent out and I didnt want to retread old ground with the lighter two. went ok. cardio and clean were my weaknesses. press pretty easy. shouldve done an 8th rep for 8 in 90 but wussed out. yoke felt way harder than last week but somehow managed to be a second quicker. farmers also felt hard and was 2secs slower than last week. wrecked the keg carry. was a bit apprehensive given how yoke a farmers felt but as soon as I got moving I could tell I was going to make my 4 length target. and even managed to avoid a suicidal chicken on the way. there has to be a good 'why did the chicken..' joke there somewhere but I cant think of it. vid: | ||

Training today: Snatch: 20kg x 3 40kg 5 fails lol 40kg x 1 50kg 3 fails 50kg x 1 60kg 2 fails 60kg x 1 70kg 3 fails 70kg x 1 80kg x 1 86kg 2 fails 86kg x 1 90kg 5 fails Snatch/overhead squat: 70kg x 1/8 shoulders and hips were tight as hell today. pulls were strong but I was dropping in for the catch and springing right back out again with the lighter weights. from 80kg on the weight was forcing me down into the hole. pulls were strong and the first 90 attempt was there pretty easily until I lost it in the hole. I think I was actually a bit shocked at how easy the pull was and wasnt ready for the catch. couldnt match it though. next week maybe? lol. vid: | ||
