cheers neil, my grips pish in my right hand davy i broke it a few year back and i never noticed anything to it until i started lifting heavy then i realised it was s**te! f**k knows how i done well at the farmers hold in that comp we competed in? it must have been a flukeGrin

i think your right alan, i had a good sesh sun tue i was due a s**t one! defo gonnae work on the holds for grip strength

Not as bad as that, but I accidentally loaded 140kg instead of 130kg for my training partner's set of 5. This was a 5kg PB for him and he was wondering why it was more difficult than usual. I only realised about 4 days later because I had taken photos that day. Grin


im forever sneaking a wee couple of extra kilos on my partners bar! what he dosnt know wont hurt him? well.........

if it was a comp for how high can you pull a weight off the floor and catch with your throat then GOOD LIFT my friend!

in the gym last night was one of the funniest and potentially deadly things id ever seen!
me and robert murray aka (tryst) decided to do clean and press an excercise we rarely do i was up 1st done few singles at 100kilo then it was roberts turn at 100kg i thing it was a PB? so i got him psyched up told him to pull the f**k out the clean boy did he do that! the bar flew up that fast hit his throat him and the weights whent flying robert was flat on his back off the platform!! after i realised he wasnt dead or crippled i couldnt stop laughing, i wish to god i taped it! im going to ask the gym if they have any camera footage i need to see it againGrin

i feel it neil! dont think ive lost too much strenght in loosing over a stone im not hitting any PBs but im maintaing what ive got. i defo prefer having a bit of meat on my bones and my best lifts where 110kg+ ma missus likes me skinny but that aint ever gonnae happen! 120kg is the target weight for the scottish bring on the binge

aye man just under 105!! ive lost a stone since the last comp due too lack of intense training not eating right and absoloutley no supplements.. i always find if im training towards something i tend to eat every 2hrs and consume s**t loads of protein and when im out of season i let it slip a little well alot.....

but dont worry come feb i plan on being 120kg.

airdrie would be s**t hot brian if you can get that up and runing, me and muzz are only 15mins away. we'd be there 3times aweek no problem and im sure we could get a couple of other lads to go aswell.

right after a hard day of dogging and youporn im off for an early nightGrin
