we're going to do 100rep body weight on all squat bench n deads no matter how long it takes you! not all in the same day tho.
today i thought i try 50 but but f**k me i was outta breath and once i stopped i culdnt be fukd doing annother 25. i think robert got his 50over a couple of sets.
and i forgot to add they where 5inch deads

done a good workout today with robert the plan was deadlift for reps and get the heart working.

DEADLIFT
60kg x 2
100k x 2
140k x 2
180k x 2
worksets 80% 0f 1 rep max

230kg x 3
230kg x 3
230kg x 6 (i was meant to do 4sets of 3, same reps less sets cheating a little)
body weight reps
110kg x 25 (the plan here was 50reps at bdy weight but iwas blowing oot my arse at 25)

then 3sets of pulldowns on 2 different machines 12reps each set. good wee workout for the back.

she took my weight height and age then told me to hold this machine straight out at arms length. she did say muscle weighs heavier than fat and it might not be all bad fat if there i such a thing!

i more pissed aff that the fact i measured under 6feet

i got up the gym around ten past 4 i thought i go for an early sesh only to be told the gym closes at 5 and be out for quater to because of the polls! f**kin politics even affecting my trainingAngry
so a quick bench it was

then i done some tri's.. the girl in the gym asked if i wanted my BMI and BODY FAT taken so i thought why not. turns out im a fat bas***d!!
body weight 110kg (heaviest ive been)
height 5ft11.5inch
body fat 28%
BMI 33
to sum up im smaller and fatter than ive ever beenConfused
the target over the nxt few year is to get the weight up and body fat down i want to make an assult in the 125s.

i done my 1st squat session this year yesterday, took it easy on the reps and i wasnt lifting any major weight and yet i feel sore as f**k today Confused
SQUATS

60kg x 5 reps
100k x 5 reps
140k x 2 reps
180k x 2 rep (belt on)
180k x 2 reps
that was enough for me i could feel my shin hurting a little. 180's felt really light lifting off but heavy on the way out the hole, i need to work more on my leg strength its been a while but overall i was pleased.

i much prefer narrow grip/ 2 fingers on the smooth close grip just feels more natural for me..and imo cg has more carry over to the strongman presses its not often you do log press with 3ft wide grip etc


i agree with nick, im a notoriously narrow bencher i think you get a better drive off the chest using your tri's and shud's. but what works for one might not work for annother its all trial and error, i still havent found my best position yet and ive been competing for 3yrsGrin

180k x 10rep it was a nice change doing light reps very comfy.

i went onto pull down machine
100k x 8
120k x 8
150k x 8 alot of swinging wasnt hitting the right muscles
100k x 12 very strict movement

110 x 1 it felt pretty easy i just didnt like bringing it down 1st time nerves. could easily of added 10 15kg but not having someone around me giving me proper tips i left it at that.
