300kg in just wraps would be impressive stuff. Shouldn't be all that much trouble for you though given your raw max, wind them on tiiiiight!

What would you consider a big equipped bench to be for you atm?

nice training mate, it'd be cool to see a 300/200/300 equipped from you, seems easily possible in the near future too! (based purely on your raw numbers)

if you don't mind me asking, why do you deadlift from a 3 inch board? what do deficit deads do for you? looking to increase my lockout strength, will they help or is it really only for off the floor strength?

at the momment around 240 but on a good day with a bench cycle leading upto comp i recon im good fopr 250+ the number I have in my head is 260 (6 plates a side)as for the squat im getting used to the wraps but im yet to have ago with them super tight

are you doing the british jnrs

they make me fight alot more to get into position because my belly gets in the way so its har to get air in and get tight at the bottom but after a few sessions if feels better and you go back to the floor it feels so much better getting into position to pull they also feel good on my hamstrings

my goals are 340/260/300 =900 equipped
300/200/300 =800 unequipped

nowt like aiming high haha

Sure with more practice in the shirt those numbers won't be too far off. If I remember right it isn't really that long since you started training in the shirt again is it?

Nah man, I'm 24 now! Getting old, yet I'm still weak as piss ha!

Surely wouldn't be too far off that equipped squat number now? Really tight suit and wraps plus a bit of practice and 80kg shouldn't be too much of an ask to get out of them!

I managed 65kg out of a suit and medium wraps the other day, first time in a suit in well over a year.

aw asif didnt realise you were 24 you going to do the classic next year? or throw in some equipped comps aswell?

yeh only had about 5 sessions in the shirt so alot more time in the shirt will do me good could do with a biogger shirt that i can rep the 200-220 range with to build up a better base

s**t me i was just basing the 800 off getting used to the kit lol, but 900 is awesome man, best of luck, no doubt you'll smash it.

in reality if I through some wraps and a shirt on and competed this weekend I would be looking at 270/240/250 along way to go yet haha

The fact that I only look about 16 means a lot of people are surprised by how old I actually am!

Really tempted to give lifting equipped another go. I wasn't too bad in kit the first time round until I got selected to lift at 66kg again, lost 10kg to get down to that and got weak! Need 592.5kg to qualify for the British Seniors equipped, so that's my current aim. 240/150/207.5 doesn't sound unreasonable once I've had a bit more practice in kit again.

Nice light session today going to introduce a 4th day in now my bodys up scratch nothing major just a speed/recovery/prep session or whatever the interweb gurus are calling it this month lol

Squats eating belt and sleeves holding pause on the bottom and driving up

6x2x140

Floor press close grip plus chains not sure what they wiegh felt good tho

6x2x140+ chains

Db incline press slow and controlled really breathing on in on the decent and opening the chest

4x10x50's

Bicep work to get sqole and some prehab jm press

Had abit of a head cold today so wasn't feeling it body wieght is sitting at 118 at the momment but I must be leaning out about now I have sorted my diet out because the briefs that took 2 people to get on I put on by myslef with abit of talc

Squats loose briefs and wraps just getting a feel for the line at this point

2x220
2x240 hit depth pretty easy with this
2x260
2x280 shot up felt quite nice having the tightness of the briefs at the bottom

Squats with sleeves and belt

Flat bench didn't feel good at all today

2x 280 is bloody good squatting! Why are you using briefs? Just for the ease of getting them on as opposed to a suit?

Cheers jabba they were going cheap and I didn't know what size suit I needed so got these to try
Out think I will progress into a tighter suit
