It'll depend on the shirt but with the Katana and the F6 I used last year, the weight is stretched across the chestplate. So either lowering the shirt by tugging it down under your belt OR like you're saying and twisting the sleeves. Both would tighten the shirt across your chest and you'd get more pop. I think the idea being that you could tighten the shirt each attempt as the weight gets heavier, sort of like straps down to straps up on the squat. I sort of understood the concepts but I never really got them to work for me tbh, I was having too much trouble just putting a standard shirted bench together on a good day. I think I ended up Benching more in the slingshot than I did in the shirt. x | ||
