A decent equipped squatter I know always says all you do on the way down is just guide the bar, let the suit do all the work.then drive up out the hole.ive seen a few lifters add 10-20 kgs to there max just by following this cue

thats what fatpete told me to do and seems to really help guide the bar and let gravity do the rest I think patience is key when the suit starts kicking in and slowing down just have to wait and let gravity do its part

I don't think I could tell you much Milsy, you took to the shirt far better than I did.

It'll depend on the shirt but with the Katana and the F6 I used last year, the weight is stretched across the chestplate. So either lowering the shirt by tugging it down under your belt OR like you're saying and twisting the sleeves. Both would tighten the shirt across your chest and you'd get more pop. I think the idea being that you could tighten the shirt each attempt as the weight gets heavier, sort of like straps down to straps up on the squat.

I sort of understood the concepts but I never really got them to work for me tbh, I was having too much trouble just putting a standard shirted bench together on a good day. I think I ended up Benching more in the slingshot than I did in the shirt.
