Bench Press

110 @ 70kg

1x5 @ 107.5kg
1x5 @ 120kg (Rep PB , the deload did wonders it seems!)

Bent Over Row
1x10 @ 40kg
1x10 @ 60kg
1x5 @ 70kg
1x5 @ 92.5kg
1x5 @ 110kg
1x5 @ 127.5kg

Incline Situps
3x10 with 15kg plate behind neck

DB Hammer Curls
3x5 @ 23kg L-R

DB Shoulder Press
1x10 @ 23kg L-R
1x5 @ 33kg L-R (all strict)

Another week done with , 2 more sessions then im having a full week away from the weights.God only knows how i will cope without my oly bar but i think i need it to give my niggles a chance to heal up.Nice little session today really , happy with the benching and the squatting going well.

Good luck with your benching tomorrow m8 , im sure 120 for 5 is well within you.The PB can keep for a week or 2 i think Gingy if it is there , i wanna get niggle free before i contemplate trying a 140 or whatever Wink

Nice work, good effort on the vids. Mor there on the bench for sure.

Squat is bent a bit far forward as you tire, need to focus a bit more on pinning the head back and really focusing on pushing the chest out to stay a bit more upright.

Yeah i can see from the video that form is far from perfect , just glad really to be able to lift that weight tbh!
I will try and focus on the chest out and head up a bit more next time out Davy ,cheers for the tips Happy

Fresh as a daisy in most parts of the body , looking forward to the last 2 sessions before the week away from the weights!

SQUAT
2x10 @ bar (f+b)
2x5 @ 60kg (f+b)
1x5 @ 87.5kg (front)
1x5 @ 95kg (all back now)
1x5 @ 117.5kg

1x5 @ 185kg (Rep PB , pretty tough, but still progressing so cant be bad)

Overhead Press

1x4.9!!!! @ 86kg (incredible got 4 reps , 5th was locked on 1 side but that gammy tricep wouldnt lockout on the right side about 2 inches from top , i held it at top for about 5 secs wondering wtf i had to do to make it lockout , so annoying a niggle can hold you back like that !!!)

Deadlift
1x5 @ 60kg
1x5 @ 100kg
1x5 @ 132.5kg
1x5 @ 160kg
1x5 @ 180kg
1x1 @ 200kg
1x1 @ 220kg
1x1 @ 240kg
1x1 @ 255kg PB (didnt attempt workset because i knew i had this in me if i didnt fatigue myself and sure enough ... BANG Grin)
1x3 @ 222.5kg (should have been 5, but after the PB and build up to it my back wasnt having the 4th rep so 3 it was!)

Tricep Pulldown
3x5 @ 43.5kg

DB Hammercurl
1x10 @ 13kg L-R
3x6 @ 23kg L-R

Incline Situp
1x10 with 15kg behind neck
2x10 with 10kg behind neck (lower back was a little tired after squats and dead so i dropped down for these)

Good start to the week , 4 of us in the gym so it was a long session but a great amount of banter so the atmosphere was great to lift in.Very happy with the new deadlift number and the squatting wasnt so bad , overhead press is funny because the strength is there once i let that tricep heal up , working round it for months now hasnt done it much favours , hopefully a full week away from the gym will help it out.

Quality lifting there mark, your progress on the deadlift in particular is staggering. You must be good for a 600kg total now.
