a large fingered spastic that demolishes plant Member 89, 31706 posts SQ 260, BP 220, DL 290770.0 kgs @ 142kgs UnEq | Leggiez. i would buy a belt but in your posistion and if you work on your squat technique and drill it. then use a belt for top weight work. but also a belt would be useful for strongman training where in most cases there is not technique that is perfect and you have to use what your body will allow to perform the task. | ||

SQUAT 1x15 @ bar 1x8 @ 60kg 1x5 @ 92.5kg 1x5 @ 115kg 3x5 @ 145kg (the gaps between reps are growing !!) 1x1 @ 165kg PB Bench Press 1x15 @ bar 1x10 @ 60kg (right tricep felt tight) 1x6 @ 80kg 1x3 @ 100kg 1x1 @ 120kg (this felt shocking , couldnt really control the descent properly cos of the tight right tricep) 1x4 @ 112.5kg (horrible couldnt lockout hardly so cut my working sets short) 1x7 @ 100kg (again was not nice on descent and 8th rep just hung in air no lockout from right arm , needs a rest !) Bent Over Row 1x10 @ 40kg 1x8 @ 60kg 1x5 @ 90kg 3x5 @ 112.5kg Tyre Flip 100kg tyre for about 20 flips down a slope and back up then dragged it a few 12m shuttles (nice cardio and was quite funny to feel the legs want to give up) Pullups 3 with a 25kg weight attached to belt. Thank god for the weekend,really need the rest and im gonna EAT like i havent seen food for a week to aide recovery i think | ||

SQUAT 1x15 @ bar 1x20 @ 60kg (these were done to a 14 inch box,we were testing for depth) 1x5 @ 90 1x5 @ 105kg 1x3 @ 127.5kg 3x5 @ 147.5kg (these were pretty strong) 1xf? @ 170kg (a bizarre fail , i went down lost grip with right arm and ended up lifting it 1 handed?!?! scary...teach me to try a PB when i feel tight in the right arm) Overhead Press 1x15 @ bar 1x10 @ 40kg 1x5 @ 50kg 1x5 @ 62.5kg 3x5 @ 72.5kg(4,3,4 < 3rd set was front press,1st 2 were BTN) 1x4 @ 82.5kg(Push press) 1x1 @ 90kgPB(push press) Deadlift 1x10 @ 60kg 1x5 @ 100kg 1x3 @ 142.5kg 1x1 @ 165kg 1x5 @ 185kgPB(again these were strong) 1x1 @ 215kgPB(came up reasonably fast,happy with this pull) M.J Superset 20 incline bench - 10 pullups - 10 tricep pulldown @ 37.5kg - 10 CG Benchpress @ 77.5kg set 1 - 20,10,10,10 set 2 - 20,10,10,10 set 3 - 20,10,10,10(improvement on the 8 cg benchpress last time at same weight!) Went into today a little pessimistic , but it turned out to be a decent session and i got through it unscathed , roll on 150kg squat for 3x5 on WED !! | ||
