cheers Carl , i liked the 500lb lift more tbh , will be awesome when i pull that chalk only !!! On a side note thats the belt ordered , 10mm from strengthshop so i guess it should appear next week sometime for us to play with. Happy

I probably shouldnt max so often but if i feel good after my working set i dont see why i shouldnt try and increase my 1rm by 2.5kg , i have never really tried a massive jump to truly find my limits on squat or deadlift yet so i feel theres still a bit more in me for those lifts ...

Going by the other guys on this forum my overhead needs a good kick up the arse so thats what im gonna focus on a lot in the coming months , once the belt comes next week hopefully it shall be the catalyst to some decent pressing overhead Happy

MON 27.6.11

SQUAT
1x20 @ bar (could hardly get depth to the 14" box !! tight )
1x10 @ 60kg (far better depth,still to box)
1x8 @ 90kg (normal squats now even better depth,past parallel )
1x5 @ 110kg
1x5 @ 122.5kg
3x5 @ 155kg ( far easier than the 152.5 on Friday,amazing the difference 2 days rest makes)

Bench Press
1x20 @ bar
1x10 @ 60kg
1x5 @ 95kg
1x5 @ 115kg (spotter helped with 5th , that right arm was causing issues AGAIN)
2x5 @ 95kg (dropped back down to 95kg cos of the niggly arm but even these were annoying the tricep so stopped these off at 3rd set)

Bent Over Row
1x10 @ 40kg
1x10 @ 50kg
1x5 @ 60kg
1x5 @ 75kg
3x5 @ 90kg (deloaded for forms sake and these felt real easy)

M.J Superset
20 incline bench - 10 pullups - 10 tricep pulldown @ 37.5kg - 10 CG Benchpress @ 75kg

set 1 - 20,10,10,10
set 2 - 20,10,10,10
set 3 - 20,10,10,10(Worked with same weight as partner because i was wary of the niggly right arm after benching earlier, felt tougher than normal)

Happy with todays squatting , Friday was a struggle but today the 3 full sets felt not too bad.Benching was a bit crappy was hoping to have a decent crack at 3x115kg but the arm wasnt wanting that sorta work through it so i best listen to it!! Bent over rows were piss easy but the form was a lot better so i cant complain really.

You were not alone , i had no idea how they would go after the 152.5 feeling so tough on Friday !! 2 days rest seems to make a huge difference with the old squats Happy

Just looking back and the last time i did 95kg b,press only got 3,3,2,2,1 Today 5x5. This system fairly works!

Stronglifts 5x5 atm,still getting gains from it so don't wanna change yet
