FRI 10.6.11

Great end to a great week of lifting , PB in squat and deadlift tonight , together with my bench PB on Wednesday takes my total for the big 3 to 500kg !!!!

SQUAT
1x15 @ bar
1x8 @ 60kg
1x5 @ 85kg
1x5 @ 107.5kg
3x5 @ 137.5kg(focussed on low bar and it really helped with the leaning forward on 4th n 5th rep)
1X1 @ 160KG PB(set it up as low as i could get comfy with and blitzed it)

Overhead Press
1x15 @ bar
1x10 @ 40kg
1x5 @ 57.5kg
1x5 @ 67.5kg
1xf @ 80kg (dunno wtf was wrong just didnt feel good strict so i did 3 pushpress @ this weight instead)
2x5 @ 67.5kg (1st set front press , 2nd set BTN , then 2 push press)

Deadlift
1x10 @ 60kg
1x5 @ 85kg
1x5 @ 115kg
1x3 @ 137.5kg
1x1 @ 160kg
1x5 @ 180kg
1x1 @ 210kg PB(flew up , didnt expect it to be quite so fast)

Farmers Walk
65kg per hand
6x12m shuttles in 60 secs
then 1 shuttle timed in 4.6secs (first time trying these with anything resembling a test , but we need proper equipment for these , 1 inch bars just aint gonna work !!!)

Incline situps SS with Pullups
3x20/10

Really good week for training,PB's in the big 3 and finally over 500kg with scope to further increase , and the 2 other lads both knocking out PB's session after session makes for a great atmosphere!

haha yea PB's are coming thick and fast , not quite at your level ofc but still im happy Happy
And yeah the supercircuits get the old metabolism fired up !

Just had a good old look in buddy from page 1!! So much progress in such a short time, can't fault you mate, flying through pb's and smashing the 500 club back door in!! Grin awesome stuff

thanks Mike , yeah its progressing well now that we got enough weights and the cage , plus a few good men to train with Happy

500kg is nice for now yeah Happy still a bit more progress i think before the plateus and hard work begins.

Another week of progress i hope , today started not too badly i guess , apart from a dumped rep @ 162.5kg on the cage spotters that seems to have bent our bar !!! Woops Unhappy

SQUAT
1x15 @ bar
1x10 @ 60kg
1x6 @ 87.5kg
1x5 @ 110kg
3x5 @ 140kg(felt a lot better today , reset the bar as low as possible after every rep and it seemed to eliminate the lean forward...although im sure a belt would be nice!)
1x1 @ 162.5kg PB (1st rep felt deep and flew up , got encouraged to try a second and went for it but i lost it forward and bent the bar on the spotters !! AAAAAAAAARGH)

Bench Press
1x15 @ bar
1x10 @ 40kg
1x8 @ 60kg
1x5 @ 85kg
1x5 @ 110kg
1x2 @ 125kg(2nd was a little tough on lockout)
1xf @ 132.5kg(controlled down well , got it up to about 2/3 but couldnt nail it , next time)
2x5 @ 110kg(1st time i have gotten 3sets of 110 , good times)

Bent Over Rows
1x10 @ 40kg
1x8 @ 60kg
1x5 @ 80kg
3x5 @ 110kg(theses were with a wider grip than previously , exact same grip as bench and we thought it would make them tougher but i breezed these)

M.J Superset
20 incline bench - 10 pullups - 10 tricep pulldown @ 37.5kg - 10 CG Benchpress @ 77.5kg

set 1 20,10,10,10
set 2 20,10,10,10
set 3 20,10,10,8(well annoyed about failing the bench , nailed the last 2 after a 15 second break)
