I like dead hangs as part of the shoulder warm up. Get loads of lovely cracking noises off them.

I am finding at the moment I can train squats once a week with no problem. I have tried to up the volume on a couple of time and each time my hip lets me know its a bad idea.

I did a set of chinups or bodyweight rows in-between all sets.


DB strict press - 3 sets of 12


side raises, cable curls and tricep pushdown superset for about 6 rounds

I really enjoy volume at the moment. Just doing set after set with sets of other things inbetween. All of that was done in 1 hour

Always find that volume makes you feel that much more worked too. Good excuse to eat lots of meat!

On my warm up sets I remembered how I used to be so good at semi sumo, and started doing it that way and just like that it felt as easy as it should have been doing all along.

Oh man so much so. I also have found that the full sumos are pretty much the opposite, in that they are really really hard. This is also great news, because it means that I have a massive weakness upon which I can work with tremendous effort.

Was never able to really sumo but semi sumoed for a while and built up the strength nicely over time.
Maybe I was doing sumo wrong but do you find them very quad heavy as I do?

Well im definitely not as lean as a stage ready bodybuilder, I am lead to believe that they are sub 5% bodyfat and I am definitely more than that. I am very lean though.
