115k is a genuine all time beltless squat pb , which just goes to show how bad I am at squatting without a belt.

my son benchpressed 100k for the first time today , he's 18 and weighs less than 10 stone
so I reckon that's pretty good benching.


Nice benching From the boy obviously gets it from his mum.

Ha ha thanks for all the kind words , I passed the on to my son and he was genuinely really pleased to get the comments from legit people (not his dad), he deadlifted 140k yesterday but his squat is lagging somewhat behind (80k 5x5 last session) his goals are 100k squat 180k deadlift and 110k bench , there's probably much more room for improvement in his squat particularly and his deadlift as until very recently he only traied them sporadically.


in the interests of keeping up with my son and motivated by watching the rugby:

pin press 2" off chest 80k5/5/5
bench press 5seconds up 5 seconds down 60kx10

supersetted with bent over row 60k 15/15/15/15

squatted on sunday bar x10 30kx10 40kx10 50kx10 60kx10

tonight bench press 90kx5/5/3 80kx5 paused
