167.5 x 3 Suddenly not happy with stance width ??
170 x 2 I was aiming for 3 but it all felt wrong...
170 x 2 The weights beat me today, my head wasn't in it for some reason ?

Although 170 x 2 is a best for me on 2 reps, I was certain after last week I would get 3 sets of 3 up on 170, I was just not feeling it though, little niggles getting in my head and putting me off !! Ahh well, next time !

Finished off with 20 mins ab work:

Hanging leg raises (3 sets of 10)
Weighted sit ups (3 sets of 15 with db)
Side bends (3 sets of 12 per side with 50kg db)

Yeah ya right, it has to be a good thing resetting. I've always felt more comfortable getting the 2nd, 3rd and 4th reps off the ground rather than the 1st. So to tax myself it probs would be better to reset after each rep...

I'm back in love with the deads again since rejigging the back routine around, I've been a bit hesitant with them for the past few months but I've got my confidence back with em now so I'm starting to concentrate on getting the lb's up, this might help... nice one ta !!

Thanks... and they were touch and go not resetted. I have been meaning to start doing the whole resetting thing after each rep to minimise the risk of setting my back off again. Must make an effort !!

Enjoyed these, found a dipping station that doesn't aggrevate my shoulder as its quite narrow at one end. Will stick at em for a while and see what happens !

Paused at the bottom and slammed up hard

Again finished off with various Tri Ext stuff for 5 setsm, resting tomorrow with big squats on Wednesday. All comments and criticism welcome !!

I've had it programmed in all week, I'm assuming it will be on every Mon. I must say I'm not all that impressed with the schedule this year, it's spread out way too much for my liking and I reckon a lot of folk will miss em because of it. They should be banging em out every night consecutive to keep the none-fans (so to speak) interested.
It always used to be a xmas/new year tradition in my house when I was growing up.

A lot of people I speak to don't even know its on this year, and its a shame...

Finished off with 10 mins Biceps...

Really happy with how my back is feeling at the minute, feels tight now but nothing suspect... may try 217.5 for 3 x 3 next outing. Slowly slowly !!

Cheers pal, I have had some little gains with it as of late. I think mainly due to mixing it up a bit. The pressing off pins is something new to me, which I'm enjoying.
