Ha ha... great lifting, yet again !! That's where I'm going wrong, I'm eating too much during the day before a session, I need to starve myself like you, seems to do the trick !

Struggled with these today, had a rough day and wasn't really in the right frame of mind, not eaten properly as I was on the go all day, trained late at night and I was knackered. So all in all the recipe for a s**t session, and I didn't dissapoint !

CG Bench
80 x 8

80 x 6
90 x 2
80 x 5

Finished off with 6 sets of tri ext's... happy I got the session out of the way really... sometimes its so hard just to fit the training in !!

D/E Box Squats (2-3" below)
100kg x 3 x 10 sets Nice and quickish all the way through...

Leg Ext and Leg curl supersets

5 sets of 10 reps on each... this always gets me !!!

Seated shoulder Press
30kg x 10
30kg x 9
25kg x 10
25kg x 9

Seated Shoulder press m/c
Full stack x 3 x 5 sets

Just to finish off with, nice and fast...

Then actually did finish off with 3 sets of db lateral raises and 3 sets of front raises !!

Again, just felt my back 'tingle' like a really really mild tearing sensation when doing the 210's, it didn't hurt and its felt fine since... just puts me off my s**t !! I really wish my back would sort itself out as I know I can kick on from this weight once I have the confidence my back won't pack in.

It always astounds me how many don't pay tribute. We did today, working in a Jail it can be difficult but today was good, there were around 12 cons out on the landing who 'all' stood still and honoured the silence which was good to see.

Ask 'THE SWORD' he had his mate stood right behind him. He actually said it really helps to have a spotter whilst doing them. I couldn't believe what I was watching...

It is feckin funny, the guy cant get changed without having a spotter...

The best was when he had a spotter doing weighted dips !! I was in stitches.

Thanks, I think I'll put them in on D/E Bench day, that way I'll still be fresh when doing em... I'm looking for any little changes to aid my Bench at the minute so I'll give em a bash !

Moz, how do you find your weighted dips help with your Bench ? I don't include these at all on Chest day and I'm wondering if I should chuck em in...

Monday 09 Nov - Garage Session

Squat
4 Warm up sets Training in garage and it was feckin freezing...
100 x 5
140 x 5
140 x 5

145 x 5
150 x 5 Really happy with that...

Calf Raises
150 x 15 (5 sets)

Abdominals
Leg Raises for 5 sets of 10
Side Bends for 3 sets of 50 reps with 25 plate.

Overall really happy with the squats, especially after last weeks s**t effort... Next squat session may go for doubles working up to my heaviest single and go for a PB... Feeling the love for Squats again !! Woo Hoo...

130 x F (would have had it but mate took it too quick...)
130 x 1 (Had to prove a point, seemed to take an eternity to complete though...)

First session we've had like this in a long time, wanted to see where abouts we were... relatively happy with 130, not sure it would have a thumbs up in any comp but still it was a 'good un' !

Push Press
80 x 5
80 x 5

Close Grip Bench
5 sets, relatively heavy of low reps. I can't remember the numbers so I won't be making them up for the sake of it !

Tri-Ext's
3 sets of 'nosebreakers' (50kg x 10 x 3 sets)
3 sets of standing ext's (50kg x 12 x 3 sets)

Overall, happy with how the heavy benching went, seemed to struggle on the middle part of the lift when it got heavy, no problem locking out or getting that first couple of inches, just the s**t in the middle that 'slows'... any offerings of wisdom welcome !!!
