Deadlift:
Bar x lots
70kg x lots
120kg x 1
170kg x 1
220kg x 1
250kg x 1
282.5kg x 1 PB

Bit of a hollow PB really. I've pulled 312kg from 11 inch so it was a given I would get it. I don't pull from the floor very often and havent done any conventional deadlifts really in about 5 weeks. Still, nice confidence boost before a comp.

Power Cleans:
60kg x lots
80kg x 1
100kg x 1
120kg x 1
130kg x 1
130kg x 1
130kg x 1
130kg x 1
130kg x 1

Tyre flip:
Few singles to warm up

Then a set of 5 one motions. Not too shabby at these now Grin

Then a few more singles

Loading:
2 x 80kg sandbags x 20m

Load the first bag then immediately unload it and take it back 20m. Grab the second bag and do the same so both bags are loaded twice.

Did this 4 times. Killer.

In the best shape I could be in given the back injuries and broken toe. Let's see how it goes.

First time squatting since breaking my toe.

Cleans:
50kg x lots
80kg x 8
80kg x 8
80kg x 8
80kg x 10

Did these quick as f**k for some fitness. Form was probably shocking but it was a lung buster.

Sprints:
Sprint 20m then walk back, sprint again, walk back then sprint again.

60m = 1 set. Did 3.

Sprint 20m, turn and sprint 10m, turn and sprint 30m.

Did this 3 times.

5 frog jumps to 15m, straight into 20m sprint.

Did this 3 times.

Pump the guns to Finnish.

Nice little conditioning session to keep me ticking over.

Then did an hour of very complicated conditiong work that I can't be arsed to explain.

If nothing else, I am in the best anaerobic condition I think I've ever been in. Even better than my best Basketball days when I was 20kg lighter.

Last session before comp consisted of pump bodybuilding, a 130kg bench, and a few cleans.

My second competition and my nerves were almost unbearable. I honestly could not stop shaking.

Overall dissapointed. I made a f**k off mistake in every event and it cost me big time. I keep going over all the video and just kicking myself. It was a f**king joke.

But, it's all experience at the end of the day.

Big congrats to everyone competing though. Some very impressive s**t.

Fair enough if I can't lift the bloody thing but falling over on the last sandbag, tripping myself with the farmers and wearing the wrong footwear on the drag are just unacceptable. I can deal with not being able to pick something up/move something but tripping up and stuff, no.

Not posted in here for a while but thought I'd share a PB front squat. Depth looks a little off from behind but it was definaty deep enough. It's 190kg just after a 180kg double. Which was also a PB.
