its a wise move.

Conditioning and mobility wise you were ahead of others already anyway, so if that takes a bit of a hit you are still in good position.

Hope you can start squatting and pulling soon?

Harness pull might be a bas***d if you have any pain still - but if you dont rush it maybe it will be back to full 100% mobility and pain free by then?

I agree with the conditiong/mobility, my concern like you said above is potentially no pulls or squats for the entire duration. It's still a bit raw to give an estimated time but I am walking relatively limp free now. Itll be a mental thing with those lifts I suspect.

The harness pull indeed may prove tricky. It's pretty much the worst thing I could possibly do with my injury. Only time will tell though if it will be pain free/painfull.

Repeated this 5 times then did a maximum hold to failure with the chain around my neck of 52 seconds. My forearms hurt.

Did some plate pinching and holds to finish. Think I will introduce some very light partial deadlifting next week. Again, keeping it on the heals.

Very very happy with this after 2 weeks off doing overhead stuff. Trying to rack the log low blocks though is very difficult though and never felt comfortable and was a bit shaky through the core No toe pain either which is a bonus.

Very pleased about deadlifting tonight. 2 weeks off to take it easy on the toe hasn't affected me too much. The 280kg was very comfortable but left it there to be on the safe side.
