todays training

SLDL:
bar x 5
50kg x10
70kg x 10
85kg x 8
95kg x 5

18" deadlift - i say 18 but thats a rough estimation:

140kg x 5
180kg x 3
180kg x 3 failed the 4th rep

DE bench press

bar x 5
50kg x 3 x 8 sets

id realy apreciate it if someone could suggest some kind of routine i could do to A, improve my squat and B, improve my deadlift lockout. It seems thatevery time i deadlift close to my one rep max i have to drag the bar over my legs a bit and im pretty sure that wouldnt be allowed in a PL comp. i dont even know what weakness i have to make me do that but im sure someone will. thanks!

good session there and again, strong deadlifts.

This worked for my squats and got them moving.

1 set of 6 reps with as perfect form as I can manage.Up the weight 2.5kg a week.
1 single with 90% of my 1rm
1 single with 95% of my 1rm
and an optional 30 rep set with 50% max or higher every couple of weeks. Up the weight 2.5kg a week.

Deadlift lockout for me is a matter of technique. Narrow foot stance for me = fast off the floor and slow lockout. Wide foot stance for me = slow off the floor and fast lockout. Other guys will be able to help you much better than I can.

thank you! sounds good to me. iv started with the 18" deadlift to try and correct lockout form but i dont know if my problem indicated weak legs or weak glutes or just crap form. il give the squats routine a go though Happy

I feel sodomized I wish I could recover over night Unhappy. Would anyone reccomend front squats instead of back squats? Which one uses more glute?
