That makes 2 of us then! Just back from holiday, was doing some training before going but decided to do a half ironman next year so starting to train for that now. Just trying to decide what one to do, probably the one in Staffordshire in June. Never rode a road bike before and running I'm starting from zero but Iv always wanted to do it and now time to stop talking and start doing. Maybe il start my journal up again to have some accountability.

Grin Thanks for the advice.

As a ironman yourself I may have to tap into your knowledge further as I get going with this challenge.

yesterday:

bench press 60kx10 70kx5 80kx5 80kx5 80kx4
seated dumbell overhead press 20k 8/7/6
side raises 6k 10/10/10
dumbell skull crushers 12k 8/8/8
tricep pressdown no 30 , 30 what i dont know.

bit tired and ran out of steam , failed rep no 5 on the last set of bench press went to dump it into the catchers and ended putting it in lobsided and all the weights fell off one end and every one stared at me, felt like a right nob.

We did an ace job of meeting for a ride this year. No wonder we're useless fat spaz's.

Going to the NW200 again next year if you fancy? 14-19th May.
