Cheers. Yeah I went to the Pyrenees for 8 days camping. Although I'm not exactly into the whole dib dib dib thing, camping was what the other families wanted to do so so be it. Went canyoning which seemed a little dangerous in places, especially some of the jumps, but was brilliant fun all the same. Went luging (is that how you spell it?) and did a s**t load of walking up mountains. All in all it was a good laugh.
Wednesday 15th August
Bench: 51 x 6, 71 x 5, 95 x 3,3,3,3,3. 5mins rest between.
Dips: BW+10 x 3,3,3. 3mins rest between.
Cut the session a little short today because I was training along side a friend who was kind of doing power cleans or something. Not sure what he was up to really as he only seemed to huff and puff and do his stuff while I was benching. Weird.

Bench: 51 x 6, 71 x 5, 95 x 3,3,3,3,3. 5mins rest between.
Dips: BW+10 x 3,3,3. 3mins rest between.

Saturday 18th August

Cleans + push press: 50 x 5, 70 x 3,3. 4mins rest between.
Close grip reverse chins: BW x 8,8,8. 2mins rest between.
Felt a bit lacklustre today but still managed to do PBs on the bench. Should have really got 100 x 3,3,3 but just ran out of energy or something. Think lack of sleep has something to do with it. Anyhoo, onwards to cleans which I think I need to work at technically. Next time I do them I will video them and put them up here for scutiny. Found them hard, especially since my right hand opened up on a blister and there was blood all over the grip on the bar. Grrrr REAL MAN'S LIFTING!!!

Cheers, I'm hoping to go for a 110 PB within the next month or so... I'll see how it goes.
Monday 20th August
Squat: 51 x 6, 91 x 5, 131 x 3, 141 x 3, 151 x 2, 151 x 2, 151 x 1. 5mins rest between.
Leg curl: 40 x 8,8,8. 3mins rest between supersetted with below.
Calf raises: 151 x 8,8,8.
Hanging weighted leg raises: 14 x 8,8,8.
Was pleased to get the 151s up and moving using the box to ensure good depth. However on the last set I intended to do 2 obviously but I split my shorts at the bottom and barely got out of the hole... so left it as a 1 repper. I need to wear my running shorts from now on, at least they're flexible enough for my apparently growing arse!

Had to combine my Weds and Fri days today since I have to go to bloody Ikea tomorrow and that's a whole f**king day gone. Oh well, got in some relatively light DLs but I did them as fast as possible and by the end I was panting like a beaten dog! Good stuff though

Well I was training today with an ex-bodybuilder, hence all the short rest periods in between sets. He was looking for the burn while I was trying to hold him back. So he's probably left thinking jesus he doesn't half hang about and I'm left thinking jesus I need longer rest between each set. Oh well.
However, I managed to get 2 sets of 3 at 101kg for my bench which represents a clear PB, so I'm happy with that. Also it seems as though he's interested in coming on Friday for deads but rather mysteriously finding himself 'squat shy' for the Wednesday. Bloody bodybuilders eh

Good question. I would like to hold off until I reckon I could stand a reasonable chance at 110. What do you think? Wait until I can bang out 100 x 5 or something like that?
