Haha o my top 4 through mate and 2 poor events it's not happening this year, too many strong lads at the static stuff, hopefully next year there wont be such a pl feel to the comps lol events are where it's at Happy

feeling stronger every week with it. I think its definately a good idea to gradually work your way up the weights to get used to the line. going for a triple with 230 tomorrow.

Thats good news mate, first session was last week just did 200x8 singles then 5 reps back to back, like you say the line is really important, plan is just 210 for singles next week and some triples from 14 inch mid week session, good luck with the 230's mate nice weight to b repping is that

Lol - I should be doing that with 115 now!!! Gonna start concentrating more on my pressing now!

WIth suited pulling i've found that by working upto my max naked... sorry raw...then suiting up and doing some reps I've found that I can up the weight next week. Did thjat make sense?

Don't worry I was stuck trying to hit 110 for about 12 weeks lol

I find my raw pull is all over the place one week 180 feels heavy week after 210 is easy but I put suit on and can hit near max every time if I want, if you mean raw without a belt too my back holds up to about 170 then gives in! I have issues with it, your journal scares me all that weight without a Belt is mega!
Plan with suit is moderate to heavy singles from floor one session then next one 14 inch triples (ooh er matron) lol

How long did you lift equipped?

Only started when got my squat suit in sept/ oct last year and when got d/l suit form Hixxy. Not bothered about becnhing equipped though don't see point!

Oh and I won't be doing beltless again - well I will until I get this fixed - cos its stupid! Didn't hurt my back but couldn't do much else after!!!!!

Cool, well officially ive been equipped a year, but full time 2 weeks haha I like equipped squatting I really enjoy it, and im with you on the bench im happy with my 60kg painless bench press max at the minute lol

I have to put my belt on to lift plant pots at home so a deadlift would be crazy haha nearest I get is warming up to about 140 without belt.

When did we get all serious about trainig we need to lighten the mood!

Trained on my own to start with then finished with Liam on strict on tricep stuff, really enjoyed today's session took me ages like always lol about 2.5 hours in between sets was breaking off to coach some of the lads in yorkshires comp.


Seated dbell press

30'sx8 shoulder was playing up on these and pressing line was drifting so was risking an injury, shame as the weight felt easy so backed off

After feeling my bicep tendon tweak on the sandbags on Sunday  I thought I would break the cardinal sin and smash my biceps for a few weeks Happy I never train them do hope this will improve a bit of strength in them, plus give me hixxy size guns, want to be rolling on 18's lol 

Strict Pressed from chin level from 70 upwards front felt was hurting on 50's from low press so held bar higher and was fine

Massive pump!! Arms were ready to pop after the dips but really enjoyed them, overall cracking little pump session I'm going to maintain my assistance day as I really enjoy them just going to increase the weights as I've been doing them really light in the last, focus is on upper back and triceps plus shoulder health.
Next session is tomorrow night some tech work then Thursday events with Robbo Liam and Si Happy

Lol I wasn't planning on doing strict til liam came but im a sucker for doing everything everyone else is doing when I'm in the mood for training lol was pleased tbh after all the dbells and the 50's on strict, I'm so weak from my chest though but my thoughts are if my strict is from chin height then it will build my lock out out power up as my legs get the bar well above my head when I pp and the log starts from about the same height so will help with that too, I've not strict pressed for about 6 months either and I've done it twice now in last 7 days lol
