Try the crackers with cheese and hot sauce first , they are awesome! Although I'm surprised you are a corn beef and onion toastie virgin!

I went to Subway with the 'kids' and three foot of sarny later I was £15 down and this was allegedly some kind of meal dealConfused

What little potatoes were left were turned into potato wedges, and 800g rack of ribs. Didn't quite hit the spot though.

Me too! They're great.

The wife introduced me to them back in 2002. It's a Northern classic!

Last night: dinner 1, at five: school chicken mayo bacon sandwich, added mature cheddar and stuck in a very low oven while I fried up some hash browns, also added to sandwich.

Dinner 2, after evening's work, at half past midnight: curry (speciality of the house). Not special, not terrible. Made me fart thunderously all day. Like troupes of Canada geese preparing for departure.

Tonight: Chinese. Crab and corn soup, orange chicken, char siu with cashews in yellow bean sauce, fried rice.

Delicious, simple corned beef hash (the potatoes and onions cooked in stock until all the liquid went, then canned corned beef stirred in), with fried eggs. Huge portion.

A totally different substance to the gourmet version at Sam's, but so so good.
