I would have been if the portion wasn't so damn stingy.

Tonight's dinner was.... well my friend got me cheese for my birthday, which is what I asked for. I ate two packs of Danish Blue, whilst listening to Pavarotti's Nessun Dorma (The final performance one from Turin), and Palladio, by Karl Jenkins.

I cannot enjoy Danish Blue and Stilton. They taste like a nosebleed to me. I love creamy gorgonzola and bacon pizza though. Also stuffed in figs or warm dates.

I've been eating out lots this month with friends and family now Covids over. Meal highlights included;
- A tandoori mixed grill for 2 (Dublin bay prawn, lamb cubes and half a chicken) with garlic naan just for me.
- A brewery pub cornflakes breaded chicken share plate with trice cooked fries and onion rings.
- 6* €3 special Wednesday night tacos at a bbq place
- Italian seafood risotto with lingcod, Dublin bay prawn and crab meat and muscles in cream to start.
f**k Rona.

Sounds bloody divine, apart from stuffed put in figs, then cook them. They'd lock you up in Cyprus for being such a weirdo and cooking with figs. Might go grab some off the tree - more free food! This peasant life has the occasional positive.

I busted out the rice cooker, and I need to make some room in the freezer as I bought 4 pet baby turkeys, all of which will be eaten when they grow up

4 tuna steaks (the last ones 4 I had Unhappy)
500g basmati
Hanful of peas
Olive oil, salt, few bay leaves

Got home from work - Cypriot style fish and chips
Now 22:15 and I'm having 4 eggs, grated halloumi, chopped up salami all scrambled as a post-workout protein snack.

My 90 year old gran made raviolli from scratch, with onions, minced beef/lamb, and layered with loads of halloumi.

I have a feeling I won't be eating red meat for a LONG time as I have 9 meat chickens that are about 3-4 weeks old now and getting a bit on the hefty side!

Food all came in one go. Potato and lamb meatballs, salad with onion, tomato, cucumber, olive oil, then a friend came over with (well dropped off) erm.... soaked bulgur with spices, lettuce, lavash. I caught the rona so can only pick up textures, and can eat a whole lemon with the skin and pips. It also turns out I can detect spice, which I didn't know as I threw a bunch of chillies in my mouth.

Still in quarantine for the 'rona. No kitchen. Kebab in the morning, 5pm my gran passed over some chicken and potatoes, but a small portion. Midnight and I'm starving, so I dug out a garlic from the garden, chopped off some spinach that's grown in amongst the beetroots (tons of spinach seeds all over that area, so they're a weed), thyme from the garden, and a pumpkin that I harvested about 4 months ago that was in storage in the garage. Olive oil and salt was also in the gym because I salt prawns for fishing, and add olive oil to fish bait. Bayleaves and chillies also kicking about for some reason.

Sauteed the garlic and onion in the rice cooker, added pumpkin, salt, bayleaf, thyme, 2 chillies, salt, water. Popped the spinach on top to steam. I thought I couldn't taste food but it turns out I'd just been served bland s**t before! Tastes awesome!

Is the halloumi inside the pasta parcels or layered like in a mozzarella, tomato and basil salad?

Both! Layer of ravioli, layer of halloumi, ravioli, halloumi. Layered more like a lasagne as opposed to a Caprese salad.

I've had almost 2 weeks off from working 2 jobs, and one of them I got paid for (I hope). No real side effects. I feel hot today but it's 28 degrees outside.
