decided to set some goals for 2013

most important 1 is to train sensibly and stay fit and injury free , and compete in the midlands u90k qualifier.

deadlift 260k
overhead barbell 120k
log 105k
load a 150k stone
benchpress 140k
front squat 150k

these goals will be extremely hard to attain but if i can stay injury free i beleive they are acheivable.

Slight setback to my plans today , 1 day back at work and my f**king back is twinging , hopefully its nothing a bit of rest and easing back the weight wont cure .

did a bit tonight very carefully and very strictly:

bench rows 50k 10/10/10/10/10

dumbell curls 10k 20/20 20k x8

bit of a s**t 1 tonight didn't eat enough during the day and then stuffed my face 10 minutes before training , which made everything hard.

close grip benchpress 97.5k 6/6/6/6/6

dumbell curls 10k x20 /20 with a very slow eccentric as prescribed by MattF.

If i eat as badly next week i wont get 100kx6 . Starting a form of Intermittent fasting tomorrow , mainly to help the wife out as she's doing it, which means only 600 calories the whole day ,needless to say I'm not looking forward to it!

I thought you were trying to LOSE weight as well? Or is it VERY bad? You should hang around my lady when she's on a diet - sausage and egg sandwich for breakfast, a biscuit with your cuppa and a 3 course meal for dinner. Cheese sandwiches for snacks. Wonder why she's not losing anything :S

Some solid goals there mate. Looks pretty doable too, especially with the 97.5 close grip for sixes. I will be racing you all the way to 140Happy
