Late workout today due to work reasons. Just finished about 15mins ago. Got the f**ker in though.

benches...60, 82.5, 100x 5's..then...115 and 117.5x 3's...122.5 and 127.5x1's....#2 bd, 130x3 x 2 sets

OHP: 55kg 6 sets of 6. This was easy, will up the weight next week.
Chest supported machine row: 12 sets going up the stack to full stack with rep ranges from 15 down to 6
Rear delt fly on machine: 3 sets of 15 bilaterally then 3 sets of 10 unilaterally (supersetted)
light hammer curls supersetted with light skull crushers: 3 sets

130kg felt light in my hands which is all good. I'll up the weight slightly next week on the overhead presses. Bit tentative with them as I haven't done them for ages but I have been reasonably strong with this movement having overhead pressed my body weight in the past with strict form and no leg drive. I did only weigh 80kg at the time but my overheads have always been not too shabby.

Good session.
Your bench will be overtaking your squat before long Doc.

Thanks guys.

Finch, bench pressing is just feeling like such a natural movement as of late. Really happy with the way it's progressing. My squat is going to get a decent hammering in the next cycle, I've been keeping it light with high volume, basic, twice weekly squat sessions in the last 10 weeks; just bread and butter sets of 4 and 3 with plenty of high bar ass to grass squatting. It's put an extra inch on my thighs and I feel hungry all the time. I'll test my squat in this coming cycle..that 172.5 will fall, I promise you.

squats...60, 85, 100x 5's....115x4 highbars without belt...then with belt for...130x3 lowbar without wraps...added wraps for...140 and 142.5x4's...147.5x2...155x1...160x1

benches..60, 85, 100x 5's...then...110x3 and 110x2

deads..110 and 142.5x 4's without belt...then with belt for...155x3...172.5x2

The 155 and 160 felt surprisingly light on my back and were both squatted with much ease. If you consider the fact that the biggest weight I've ever taken on my back was a 180 (which was squatted high), I'm very happy with that.

Great stuff Iain, I'll be there. You doing this one equipped?

Today's session:

benches...60...85...100x5's..then...115x3xsets...117.5x3x2sets...120x3x2sets

Military press...55x6x4sets

Chest supported row...gazillions

Pull-ups...BWx5x5

Monday I did 120x3 for a PR triple. Today I did it for 2 sets AFTER 4 sets of heavy triples with 115 and 117.5.

Bench feels good. Hopefully this progress won't stall.

Goal for my BWLA divisional in October: get within 100kg of Iain! Bring it on.

BW post-workout: 90.4kg - a bit light, I've somehow managed to lose about 1kg in the last week. Must eat more.
