No lol. Training time is training time. I might have stuff which stops me training, but once I get started that's generally it. Happy

For completeness, and for no other reason...

Sunday Bench
Bar for 10 x 3 sets
40 for 6
50 for 4
60 for 2
70 for 1
80 for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
Finish

The plan was a pyramid with 80, but I've had a bad weekend (two lambs born, both stillborn) and I just completely ran out of energy after the 7. Not strength, energy. opefully, Tuesday will see me recovered and stronger.

Edit: within a few minutes of typing this, I fell asleep in the chair for about 90 minutes. I told you I was tired...

Tuesday Bench

Utterly exhausted today. Up at 10, but too tired to train until 4 Knew there were no reps there today, so the plan was just to add 5 a side until I could go no further. Target was 110.

Bar for 10 x 3 sets
40 for 6
50 for 5
60 for 4
70 for 3
80 for 2
90 for 1
100 for 1
110 for 1
120 for 1
Finish.

Really pleased to get 120 feeling like that. Foot even slipped and I still got it. But I need to shake off this fatigue and get some reps in, or I'll never progress...

Sunday Bench

Should have trained Friday, but a sheep was in lamb. Saturday was spent on lamb stuff, as the mother had no milk. So I trained on Sunday, still fatigued, hoping the warm up would put things right. The plan was go to 120 and then some down sets

Bar for 10 x 3 sets
40 for 6
50 for 5
60 for 4
70 for 3
80 for 2
90 for 1
100 for 1
110 for 1
Finish

I loaded the bar to 122.5, and as soon as I unracked it, it just felt too heavy, so I put it back and stopped. No energy for reps, I'm afraid.

This constant fatigue is beginning to get me down. If it's still here in a week's time, I'm going to have to seriously reconsider doing the Scottish Bench on 23rd May. It's too far to travel and too expensive to justify if I still feel like this.

And to make things worse, the wee lamb didn't make it...

Tuesday Bench

We go again...

Bar for 10 x 3 sets
40 for 6
50 for 5
60 for 4
70 for 3
80 for 2
90 for 1
100 for 1
110 for 1
120 for 1
110 for 2
100 for 4
90 for 6
80 for 8
70 for 10
Finish.

And suddenly, as quickly as it arrived, the chronic fatigue has gone, First decent workout for a while, and thankfully 120 is still there. Got it four times now. Even hit the rack, and it still didn't stop it going up. Just maybe, things are on the up again.

Thanks Andy. Lost all three lambs this year. They would have been my last ones, but not meant to be. Unhappy

Friday Bench

Posting late. Decided to go with the green band, which adds 35 to 40 at lockout. Previous recent pb 85.

Bar for 10 x 2 sets
Band on
Bar for 8 x 2 sets
30 for 6
40 for 5
50 for 4
60 for 3
70 for 2
80 for 1
90 for 1
Finish

A 5kg pb sounds impressive, but it's a while since I've done the green band and I've got stronger since, so I was hoping for a wee bit more.

I also loaded the bar to 95, but as soon as I unracked it it just felt to heavy, so I left it there with the option of a volume session on Saturday, which didn't happen. I'll rest up till Monday instead.

Monday Bench

Not 'on my toes', but let's see what we can do.

Bar for 10 x 3 sets
40 for 6
50 for 5
60 for 4
70 for 3
80 for 2
90 for 1
100 for 1
110 for 1
122.5 for 1 (M4 pb)
110 for 2 (missed third near lockout)
Finish

Everything felt heavy until the 110, which felt lighter than the 90.

As is often the case, it's the failed rep that knocks the stuffing out of you. Pleased to get beyond 120 at last. Left foot slipped but I still got it.

Things are moving in the right direction, albeit very slowly.

Fell asleep when I got back to the house, so happy with that while tired.
