So i'm guessing going up to 5's before the weight goes up on each movement...?

I think you'll find strict stalling pretty fast but I like the general idea of the plan, very simple and only 1 way to see if it'll work...

Nope- doing the same thing I did with my squats for both deads and strict- Russian squat routine- http://www.exrx.net/WeightTraining/Weightlifting/RussianSquatP...
I'm convinced it'll work as I'm used to stupid volume/intensity. I think JC did it for deads once and did OK. Whats the worst that could happen......... Wink Grin

Deadlifts are a weakness are they? f**k off!!! lol And you've trained twice since the comp already. You are slightly freaky. Defo one for the top lads to worry about in the future. Good to see you again Ben, albeit briefly. Good luck with OPERATION STRONGMAN, I'm sure with your attitude it will come good! Happy

Good luck with it Neil, worked really well with my squat, will have to wait and see how it goes with my deads though.

Thanks Pete, was good to see you again too Happy 280+ deadlift is where it's at in the U90 up there, probably more by next year.... My plan is to be competitive next year, hopefully top 5- this year was all about experience and building up. The U90 standard is mad though, lots to do to keep up!

Deadlifts were HARD today. Early morning session on an empty stomach, so to be expected. Back feels a bit battered but not too bad.

Wanted to finish on a 20 repper. Last 2 reps were not nice, have been feeling ill since doing this.... Also lost the full use of my legs for about 10 minutes!

Forgot to mention- for the high bar squats, as I've not got Oly shoes, I put some domino's in the heels of my trainers- seemed to work quite well! Patent pending!
