Pressing is s**t at the moment. Push presses were all over the place, almost toppled over twice- think i'll drop the weight slightly and do 5x5 for a few weeks. Hopefully have a crack at a log this weekend as I begin my events training.

First time event training this morning. Turned up at the gym and there was no one about, the strongman stuff was outside so I cracked on (but didn't know the weights of anything....) After 45 mins the owner turned up and filled me in.
90kg Farmers hold- 4 or 5 times, longest was about 45 seconds but there was loads left. Will have a crack at 120kg (comp weight) next weekend.
Log- Clean was easy, couldn't press it... was told it was 90kg. Quite close though, hope to get at least 1 rep by comp time!
Tyre flips- no idea of weight but it left me blowing.
Yoke- longest walk was ~10m. Back an fourth a few times. Felt heavy! Found out it was 290kg so quite chuffed.
So first events session over, not much structure but really enjoyed it. Looking forward to next week! Might actually do OK on the farmers hold as well (if I can get it off the ground...!)
